Some help please ...
I can't find anything about this, so everybody except me must have figured it out - what's up with the anvil in the woodsman's hut? I tried interacting with it in all kinds of ways - it definitely looks like something is supposed to be done with it, but I can't figure out what.

It wasn't obvious to me either but It's
what's underneath it that needs 'releasing'Bigger hint
just put your shoulder to the anvil pedestal.
.... I am sure you know precisely where the amulet is in that room :sly: .

Thank you, most sage Sagittal. I did notice what was under it, but never imagined such a simple solution as the one you proposed! Wait til I tell Nightshifter - he was puzzled about it, too. :thumb:

Finished! Wow!! :D
Sterlino, I want to thank you for spending so much time on creating this incredible fan mission. It will forever stand as one of the best out there!!
Grazie!!! :)

Apparently I'm going blind, as no-one else has asked How to get into the trophy room (off the Dining Room)?
Edit - in the security control rooms, 2 of the security cards lock into the slots, but the 3rd remains 'inactive' (i.e.when the slot - or anything else - becomes frobbable, it shrinks on screen as if i was trying to use say a flash bomb or Dewdrop on the lock. Also, I remember the code from mission one being 2283, but there's only six buttons :erg:
I don't know - maybe all these puzzles are wearing me down....

Don't give up on it Sticky!
There are 2 doors in the basement to
the same control room - they open independently and you only need to
open one of them The door with the keypad next to it relies on you having brought the
red/purple card from Mission 1 - found inside the crate with the "X" on it in the bank vault office - and with the code number
4426. OR you can use the 3 cards ("Strange Keys")
you find in Mission 2 to plug into the multi-slot console near the other door. If the third "key" you have is green and labeled "Strange Key" it should go in one of the slots in the multi-slot console where the other 2 went. If it's a red/purple key labeled with the
4426 code then it's for the single-slot console with the keypad. Ie if you have the red/purple key with the code AND access to the keypad console (varies with difficulty) you don't need to use the other multi-slot console.

Sticky Fingers: search the corridor near Trophy room. Have you found something ?
Hint: check the armour statue

Sagittal - Thanx so much for the comprehensive answer :thumb: But I'm afraid it won't make any difference: I reckon this mission's broken for me.
I never made it into the Bank in mission 1, so went on without getting that purple card. Found the 3 pretty much identical-looking (green) key-cards (Lift basement, checkers game & Lorenzo's office) - 2 of these go into the multi-slot panel (through the right-hand door), but I simply can't get the 3rd one to interact with any of the slots - as described above - even the one next to the code panel (tried it just in case).
These missions have so many brilliant, & often innovative, aspects - but I've found them among the most frustrating to play. Mostly because the majority of 'clues' are either incredibly obtuse or non-existant, leading to heaps of trial-&-error puzzle approaches, but also the unforseeable death-traps (a pet hate of mine), frequent movement difficulty (ladders more of a health risk than usual, easily getting behind a piece of furniture only to not be able to get back, several instances of what seemed to be 'invisible walls') & the inability to control most lights - which obviously included the remarkable amount of sourceless lighting. I can't help thinking that a lot more beta-testing was needed.
Despite the above, I've spent far more time enjoying these missions than not: so being blocked from finishing after many, many hours is just so damn frustrating.
Thanx anyway, but it looks like I'm done with this one :(
(Sorry if this comes across as a bitching session: it definitely wasn't meant to.)
Edit: Thanx, Aspirin - found the 3 coins easily, but walked straight past that! (Nice loot haul)
Edit 2: ....feeling very small about now.....Turns out I'd shut the safe door in Lorenzo's office after getting that key-card. All key-cards work now. I've no idea why it can have that effect, but I've been caught a couple times before - I've got to stop being such a conchy Thief :tsktsk: *sigh*, I'll go away now....

Sticky Fingers: You're welcome - sorry it didn't solve the problem :( .
For some reason I didn't get some of these scripting(?) problems that I see others have had and if that's the problem you've got I am afraid I am little help  .
With all the wonderful innovation and clever puzzles that Sterlino puts in his missions you know there's always going to be some problems - but on top of a "broken" mission I can understand you get to a point where the frustration is just too much!
PM sent.

Thanks to Gloria for at least acknowledging my earlier posting, but we don't seem to be any closer to curing the 'T2 needs to close' crash problem which Basil, Shadowcrawler, myself and presumably others have experienced. I do not have the NV Enhancement Pack installed, brought forward no special arrows from mission 1, I'm using Darkloader, and still it crashes. Usually when I am outside, or in the villa approaching a door that leads to the outside. Do the author and testers really have no idea what is causing this?
