I just thought that, if he went everywhere, Garrett's more likely to find more loot (e.g. among the many secrets).
Can't spot a lootlist anywhere.

Replaying this one again. I am in the weapons shop and I pick out what I want and the guy tells me "good choice"...but where do my selections go? They are not in my inventory, nor on the counter and the funds have been removed from me.

They should just show up in your inventory. I just checked and that's how it works for me. You have to click on the item itself, not just the price tag but if the money is being deducted, then you must be doing that correctly. I can't think of anything to help other than maybe restarting from a save and trying again?
