I get a crash to the desktop at certain places through out the mission. It could be a scripting error. I forgot which one I have on my system.
Well, some guys at the german forum reported similar problems.
Unfortunately I don't see any hint that one of these found a way around these issues.
I never had a crash myself. But I also
never have any scripts installed unless the author requests it.
This one does not require any scripts.
Besides that, the outside area has some odd flaws in texturing (flickering, invisbile water), but I am not sure if this may cause such problems on some systems.

Crashing to desktop problem with me too.
Whenever I hear the sound of the dragon?? -never have been able to see it, the mission crashes to desktop.

The same was reported on the german forum, but no resolution was announced.
Just a guess: any enhancement pack installed ?
I play with TafferPatcher on top only. No Enhancement Packs and no scripts besides that.

uninstalling the ep pack didn't help.

All scripts & NV's EP installed on WinXP Pro SP3 - no problems at all (although I noticed the water & other texture issues too).
Another Dark Engine WTF? :erm:

the same with my system (I'm german :D).
It crashes sometimes, if the noise of some broken glass is coming up.
It crashes at every approach of the red burrick in the sewers.

I'd appreciate a gentle nudge please.
I have the Clef du forgeron, could anyone point me at the forge?
Thanks.
Never mind, found what I needed.

Fun little mission! The hardest part was achieving the loot objective, which I managed to do after I blew up that damned dragon! Small glitch though: after I opened the grate in the sewers where you get the explosive charges, I must've waited down in the sewers for that dragon (explosive charges carefully laid) for over 5 minutes. Turns out the dragon was stuck in an interior doorway of Storel's house, so I had to make noise to get it to work its way free (& come after me!). Otherwise, this was an entertaining little FM with a certain element of suspense, since you don't know what's caused the deaths & damage in the town til you find Storel's readable.
Thanks to the author and to those who took the time to post translations for the readables & objectives! :thumb:
EDIT: P.S. Is there a way to open any of the other locked grates down in the sewers to gain access to the grated-off tunnels, or are they just there for show?

Sounds like you have been to all accessible areas already.
As far as I can tell there is no way
inside the other tunnels.
And not loot in there either. As for loot:
got all except for 100. Although I 'know' what to look for and where, I can not find or get get it. Maybe it is not even visible/obtainable.Dia, what is wrong about Kansas ?
Maybe I don't get the joke. ;-)
