Haplo, thanks for the hints, but they do not help me in the least. The double door is still inaccessable, do not know where I am supposed to put the
salt to shut down the power I see. I thought you were a bit further.
Hint 1:
There is a note about the location of the water supply.Hint 2:
Remember the one about urinating in the water?Hint 3:
The generators room.Hint 4:
If you can't get in there, visit the balcony on the upper level.

I sure hope all the rich n idle don't get their guards from the company that Lord Ihsahn did! :grr:
Seriously, could ya have set their visual and auditory acuity ANY higher?
Sheesh, make a taffer actually (ugh) work for his nicks!
Though I do have to say - this thing is just as pretty visually as anything from T3! ;)
(books, textures, those green glass windows - WOW!) :thumb:
and that painting in the library! - so colorful! - I want it! :sly:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haplo - could we please get an english translation of the pop up text in the armory?

The audio/visual attributes of the guards were not touched at all. I agree some of them can be quite jumpy, and that is because they keep walking calmly even if they are alerted, which is misleading. Why this happens, I don't know.
Which text do you want translated? There are hidden texts in Spanish, Swedish, Finnish, Hungarian and Persian in this mission.

You don't need the teleporter to climb up to the book.
Leave the receiver on the right pillar and jump up on the left side of the pillar where the book is.
When you read the book, use the teleporter then and watch :ebil:
Gloria Creep
But I tried for 10 mins to mantle up onto the book's pedastal! :nono:
It IS too high! :grr:
(and my throwing arm SUX! thank god Garrett isnt stuck with throwing knives as his ranged weapon!) :o :laff:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I saw the archer target text translation in this thread already Haplo - so the 2 from the sword dummies are the ones I dont know - I take it they are adult in nature so if you cant post a "cleaner" translation - i understand!

I raised the height of the pedestals in the updated version, their low height in the original version was a mistake.
Most of the statues have hidden texts (even the ones in the Den). I'm sure you can use google to find out what you want to find out!

Not the pedestals - raising them higher! THAT'S low!

Not sure how to get the code to the safe in the bedroom. I used the dirty sponge on the journal sitting on the desk. Objective complete. But now what? How do I get the code?
Thanks!
Oh, never mind. didn't read the new objective. silly me.

I seem to have encountered a problem with the labyrinth.
I have found all 5 scrolls for the labyrinth but I am unable to enter the labrinth itself.
I have used those elevator air bubbles to get up on the ledge over the labyrinth grate and am staring down a small hole where haunt-like thing is standing staring back. I presume that is Samoth? Yet I don't seem to be staring at him the right way, because neither is the gate opening, nor the haunt appearing beneath.
Is there something I missed, or have I broken anything? As I don't have any savegames restarting would be kind of a lengthy thing^^
On a second note
According to the walkthrough a objective should appear once you read the scroll on the waterless fountain near one of the labyrinth scrolls. For me it didn't.

According to the walkthrough a objective should appear once you read the scroll on the waterless fountain near one of the labyrinth scrolls. For me it didn't. This almost certainly means that NVScript has stopped working for you. This can be a temporary thing (every once in a while, but very rarely, it just doesn't work in a Thief session but restarting Thief solves the problem); but sometimes it is due to changes in Windows (Windows Vista or 7).
This is quite easy to test assuming you have version 1.2 of the mission: Restart the game and go either down the coal chute or rope up to Hans' window. If the NVScript is malfunctioning it will block your path with a gate and a note notifying you of the problem. In this case check this thread for the fix: (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133683&highlight=nvscript)
And if gate and note do not exist then it must have been a one-off glitch; load an earlier save game and try again.
