Am I missing something? When I start the mission all I see is pitch black! I have my weapons and tools and the note but I cannot walk around or hit anything and there is only a low humming noise. :confused:

Great first mission. Couldn't figure out the Easter Egg code, but I definitely enjoyed myself throughout!

Eheh thanks that's really super nice! Wow I'd never try it without new mantle, this is way too hardcore :o

Weird, I don't know much about how the game works. What version of NewDark are you using? And do you use Darkloader too?

This was a lot of fun and a surprisingly solid first mission. Also, loved the easter egg - it'd be cool if more authors showed off unused ideas.

there is a room ....opposite the entrance to the disappearing caskets room....how do you get in there.

Outside the metal door, there is a long narrow tunnel with some stone ledges over lava. Make your way to the far end of that hall. That will get you going in the right direction.

ok i AM STUCK bad!I hopped over to this chest with three holes on either side of the walls, but when I turned around, the ledges were gone and I have NO IDEA what to do next! It just keeps shooting out those purple energy balls from the holes in the wall and any way I try to jump I land in the lava and die immediately! cThis VERY FRUSTRATING since the author gave no indication of how to get out of this.

I'm afraid you'll have to reload an earlier save. This is a timed puzzle and the platforms lower after 15 or 20 seconds. Maybe a bit less, I never actually timed it. But you can reuse the same lever to raise them again if they sink before you start to go across. I highly recommend using a speed potion for this, just because it makes it a lot easier, but it's isn't really necessary. But if you aren't using a speed potion, you don't really have much time to waste. You have to flip the lever that raises the platforms and get moving right away.
There is one thing you could try in your present situation. If you have a speed potion and all your health, you could possibly make it back by jumping in the lava and swimming across. You might make it before running out of health. Without a speed potion, that seems unlikely, but I can't be sure. I suppose it's worth a try.
