im confused too, i havent even found the pub, DE floret or whatever L'Arsene.

i have found [SPOILER]two little doors that open into a cramped "alleyway" go thru a door and theres this place where two thieves are, ones standing right under a staircase and the others are in a doorway. and when you move, bars come up and lock you in with the thieves. [/SPOILER]

can some one please tell me how to at least get to the pub?

ShadowWolf, you're going in the right direction to get where you need to go. [SPOILER] You have to go into the trap with the thieves. In there, you'll find a key that you need. Then you can go back down the street and find a gate to another district that will unlock with the key. [/SPOILER]

[SPOILER]If you hug the wall to the left at the top of the stairs you can slide down and get the key and back again without the bars coming down. Problem is getting out. Easy enough to climb a rope arrow to the top of the stairs but mantling onto the landing is touchy. Can be done though. Enjoy.[/SPOILER]

I found an easy way to get that key....jump up and down in the hall way, let the guards come after you. While they are searching for you, you sneak in get the key and get out.

But that is not my problem.
I have gotten to the point of finding Larsene...which I have. But how to keep alive and get to the police station.
I have opened the one little window, but cant do anymore...at least not at this point and time.

Can someone assist.

ShadowWolf - [SPOILER] There's a button on the wall in the room where you found the big spider. There's a small pile of broadheads on the floor at one end and the button is about 3/4's of the way up that wall. It's easier to spot from up above, before you jump down to the lower level. You need to hit that button with an arrow to open the gate out. [/SPOILER]

Brent - [SPOILER] Are you having trouble getting back out of deCharry's with L'Arsene or back into the police station? If you're having trouble getting back in, go down to the canal that the bridge crosses and you'll find a big hatch at one end. You can swim into the jail cells that way (L'Arsene doesn't drown as long as you're careful) and avoid the guards. [/SPOILER]

what spider?
i recall the big one in the sewer that was guarding a diamond...that is the only one i think of.
i have not yet gotten him.
i can see him through the window and that is it.
i can not get him to take him anyplace.

Playwme - exactly where are you in the game? A lot of people (me included) see this one thief through a window (he's sitting in front a fireplace) and think he's L'Arsene. He's not.

Yes, I misunderstood where you were, Brent. The guy you see through that window is NOT L'Arsene, but you do have to get into that section. If you haven't then you also haven't been to the part with the spider that I told ShadowWolf about. You need to [SPOILER] go into Chez Serge and look under the edge of the sofa for a key. It unlocks a small gate, just down the street and will get you into the Abandonned district, which is the area where you'll find both the spider I mentioned and the thief you saw through the open shutter. [/SPOILER]

Is Chez Serge the place with two guards in front of it?
If so, been in there.
I dont seem to find the gate to the Abandonned district that you mentioned.
I have found the key to the secerect loot.
