I'm almost finished with this FM, but I can't find my own loot that L'Arsene stole from me.

Also, towards the 'left' as you enter the abandoned district, I can see a room from the outside, and can mantle half way up, but can't mantle into the (rather big) window.

You can just walk/mantle into it. Maybe you're standing too close. There's room to back up a step. That worked for me.

I am playing L'Arsene in expert mode and have got the key via the abandoned distrint and am now outside a room where someone, whom I take is L'ARsene himself, is pacing up and down - he is impervious to bj or even sword so I am stumped as to how he can be caught alive and dragged back to the cell to fulfil the objective. Any hints would be great - this is a very good FM and I hope the maker does more.:thumb:

IIRC...I believe you have to knock him out without alerting him. Are you getting the drop on that sneeky rat bastard?

got him eventually [by flashing him] - but now how to get him into the cell: he insists on drowning every time i take him for a swim through the sewer - can it be done that way or is it time to go back through the security building?

You can get him in that way. I've done it but it's a bit tight. You can also take him in through [SPOILER] the upper floor window at the far end of the building, if you want to avoid the front door. [/SPOILER]

thanks - managed to swim him in after x attempts; now I need the last loot to complete and I have no idea where it might be: i have 2883 so far - any clues? :confused:

Loot you may have overlooked:

[SPOILER] Did you notice the necklace on the floor in Le Pouilloux's tower?
When you start climbing down into the underground area (Where you jump down using the metal girders), there are some gems in the water at the very bottom, down where the spiders are.
Did you find the prostitute's room? It's up over an archway into the North District (The area where the Security offices are located.). You have to rope arrow up to find the way in. There's a secret in there and it conceals a purse.
There's a purse inside a cradle in a building not far from DeCharry's house (where you find L'Arsene).
