T2 FM: L'Arsene (Sep. 6, 2002) - by Lady Jo

This forum is here just so you CAN ask questions so no apologies necessary. :)
The house you need to be in is one you may have already entered but there should have been a door you couldn't get through upstairs. It's the house that
you can enter through a small window behind a bush that takes you into a bathroom. There's a guard outside the front door and it's near a gate that leads back into one of the town squares, the one with the shops in it.
Anyway, mission completed now. Thanks to your guidelines I also ended up finding L'Arsene's treasure on the way. Finally I saw the 'bush' you mentioned from the inside and then realized what I'd been missing all the time. Thanks for the help, Nightwalker. Cheers :p
You're welcome. I had to remove the screenshot as it was much too large. The maximum size allowed is 640 x 480.

Allright who can help a noob in need?
I am to the point where I just came through the police station and I need to get into the retarded guys tower. I have found the catwalks and am trying to mantle up onto his window. I just can't seem to get it. Is there a trick here. Garret can't climb through an open window?
Also, I found an armory earlier that was locked? Does this become open later for restocking? I am running very very low on supplies.
I know its probably been a while for most of you but whatever help you can give me would be great. Thanks!

Just go find a box to stand on. That's what I had to do, anyway, to get in. I don't remember anything about the armory, though. Sorry!

Need some help please.
All objectives checked off except to
catch Arsene and get him back. I go into this barn area climb across the rafters as I hear someone running off. I dop down in another area and am confronted by this black clad person who kills me off pronto. Is this Arsene? Cannot find the gas arrow that is needed. What is this about spinders.
Mary
Edit.
Ran away from the psycho and fell into a hole with water at the bottom. Some sort of undead came but smote him with sword and felled him. Have mantled up to a higher ledge
Am I on the right track.
Nightwalker on 5/4/2005 at 13:03
Yes, you're on the right track, Mary. :)

Much obliged Nightwalker.
Finished the mission now.
Couldn't find the gas arrow, but L'arsene was a pussy cat.
By the way, apart from being a literary allusion, is L'arsene a play on the word larceny. Pretty obvious I suppose, but I'm having one of my dim days.
Super mission anyway. Lovely streets and houses. If I was technical I could wax lyrical about all these things, but as I'm not, fantastic will have to do.

Yes, I was impressed by this one. I am now playing emilie victor by the same author and I am impressed by that one too. There is a very Thiefy feel to these missions and they are large and well designed for the most part.
Isn't there also a third mission that comes after emilie victor? Anyone know which one it is? Thanks
Gervasius on 5/4/2005 at 23:07
Just finished emilie victor.
It took me around 3 hours and I missed 20 loot. Great mission!!! I'm off to download the third one.
