You can't open that gate from where you are, Sap'em. You can get to it from the other side, later on and use it to get back to this section of town, if you need to.

The tower where Pouilloux lives is [SPOILER]in the section you get into from the upstairs door of the Police station. [/SPOILER] I don't want to tell you too much, because I don't know how far you've gotten, exactly. :)

thanks, found it. I already had the key to a gate that I had missed. I must have run through that area about 5 times w/o really looking. I am still at it (2 hrs and 22 mins).:D

[SPOILER]The key to the "Abandonned District" is in the chamber of l'Arsène in Serge's inn, where Garrett says, "I wonder what happened here?"

I can't believe I finally finished this massive mission - there was so much to explore! A fabulous story and map - thank you so much Lady Jo. My poor hubby is wiped out from translating what I couldn't. I really enjoyed roaming around the map and the unique use of multiple entrances. What a fabulous challenge!
