There's a BJ everyone Objective in the final release? I haven't played it yet, but it wasn't there on the beta. Peter's very meticulous, so I'm sure that 50g. is there somewhere. Did you find the gold wine bottle tucked in beside one of the armoires in the upper eating area of the kitchen? It's easy to overlook.
Welcome to the forum, by the way and to Thief FMs. You started off with a wonderful FM but there are lots of other really good ones out there.

I really don't think I missed anything because I followed this list (as a last resort) and had "auto-search bodies" on in the game, so missing a purse on a boby would be impossible since I moved every body.I presume you are talking about the list published at the Cheap missions site or the one Nightwalker e-mailed to some of you. I am confident that the grand total of 12500, reported by Lord Alan in the mission and contained in the loot list, is correct for Expert skill, aka Sneak, but I have not checked the other skills.
I have just noticed that several of the cumulative totals in the list are incorrect owing to rearranging the order of some items and failing to adjust Excel forumlas. You can see the errors as repeated values in the cum totals. I have fixed this and will submit the corrected list to Jason soon. But I am quite sure that the individual items and the grand total are correct. I have checked it twice. I went through version 1 of the released mission and checked everything off again. The way I do that is to select each item as I find it, change its color, and compare the subtotal with the current value at each stage. Unfortunately, unless you keep track like that, you cannot be sure what you missed. After the fact, it is difficult to piece together. I have had to restart the mission more than once owing to failure to account for something.:)
EDIT: I just read your and Nightwalker's posts again. "BJ everyone" applies only to the first skill level, called Action. I have not verified the totals for Action. Sorry. Maybe someone else has and will speak up.

Sure did. Thanx for the welcome.

Yep, and that's how I played it. I just can't resist swingin' my BJ.
I am playing it again to see if I can fulfill these objectives. I won't drown anyone this time.
'Turns out the dead guard in the water wasn't put there by the mission creator as I discovered the guard is not there this time through. 'Musta fell in lookin' for me. A tree beast did this also and I had to replay that part a couple of times to be able to take 'em all out, since they can't be drowned.
Well, I played it through again on "action" and am still 50 short on loot. All other objectives clicked though, including the BJ everyone objective.
The hidden room in the attic with the serpentyle torc trapped me when the door closed while I was still in it, requiring a reload. The first time I played this mission, it stayed open.
What is up with that?! I also got stuck behind a regular door when it opened into me. I could not close it, jump or crouch/crawl my way out, requiring another reload. I think this second bug can happen with all missions since I seem to remember it happening in the original game.

In the attic
you need to weigh down a pressure plate. It's possible that whatever you put on it to hold it down wasn't right on and the plate came back up, allowing the door to close.
As for the problem with the other door, that can happen anywhere. I've run into it myself several times and I've learned to be careful of where I am when I open doors.
The thing is, both times through the mission,
I didn't weigh the plate down with any object. I simply walked on it and jumped down. I can just imagine someone breaking their keyboard in anger after making it that far in the mission without saving and becoming trapped without warning when they thought the door would stay open. At least the two vaults in this mission have warnings posted on an adjacent wall concerning how long you can stay in them.
I'm fortunate that I don't mind creating many restore points by saving my game to keep from completely starting over.

I could really use a specific answer on this one!!!
You found the caves with the rubies and the face. Go back out of there, to the caves where you saw a picture with a diary under it and look for the entrance to ANOTHER cave, with treebeasts in it. Lord Alan is in there.
