I'm afraid the loot list is your best bet. If you're really determined to find it all, just go through the building and check each item until you find what you've missed. There's a lot of loot scattered through this mission.

Yeah, I can tell.
Ill give it a try! :)

OK, I'm playing this excellent and breathtaking mission (one of these "too good" kind of missions, pffff amazing!!!), but I seem to be stuck. There are 2 places with codes to enter. The guards carry some 'helpful tips' on their belts, but I'm never good at guessing these kind of riddles. There is one code to enter in the basement and the note says
watch your hands, close your eyes, touch your nose, vanish in the nothing
Another code is close to the mask room and the note says something like "1+1+1+1", I tried 1111 or 7777, but it doesn't work.
What are the codes?
I can't really go any further without the codes.
Excellent mission!!!!!!!! Amazing mission!!!
Nightwalker on 8/11/2003 at 21:11
The code with the 1+1+1+1 clue is
1,2,3,4. Just keep adding 1, like it says.
The other code -
5,2,1,0
Thanks, Nightwalker. OK, now I see what the riddles were. :p

Ok, got the cube now. But I can't seem to get to the chapel nor get the mask. Any tips?
I also can't cross that magic barrier in the lower basement, but maybe once I get the mask, I will be able to.
Another thing is that up in the victorian chambers, one of the chambers has a frobbable white banner, which I can't open.
I also can't find a way to Lord Alan's chamber. Yes, I read the book in the captain's room and it says I can get there by climbing onto the roof, but I can't find a way in there...
UPDATE: OK, I finally got to Alan's bedroom, by jumping out of the railing. Funny thing is that I can't get back. How can I get back? I can't climb nor jump onto the railing on his balcony.
Also, it says the FM was released April 2003, do we know if the author, Andrea Aleotti is maybe working on any new mission? A sequel maybe? :p
Nightwalker on 9/11/2003 at 02:33
The last thing I heard, Andrea was working on another mission, though I'm not sure if it's tied to the other two or not.
As for where to proceed now, did you
find the magic crystal down in the jail? If you have it, then search Lord Alan's rooms VERY carefully because you missed something.
I'm not sure which rooms you're referring to as the "victorian chambers". Can you be more specific? If you mean the
throne room, then check the throne for a lever.
Otherwise, I'll need more details.

Thanks for the tip. I found the "thing" in Alan's bedroom (argh! Didn't search it good enough before). OK, now I made it through the 7-steps test, but I'm stuck on the last one. It says "shot the dark", I tried shooting the flying circles with the arrows, I broke the glass, I tried to water arrow the fire pedestal. Finally I jumped through one of the windows and I landed where I started... I'm confused here. Any tips?
Yes, I meant the white banner-thing in the throne room.
Jenny Chen on 9/11/2003 at 12:33
I'm sorry. But I've searched on all the Lord Alan related threads on this board. There is none of them mentioned the question I want to ask. I wonder if I'm sn extra stupid thief.
Look at the mission map. Between the fortress building and the outer wall, there is a circle of "guard posts". Actually one of them is a well, another is a cistern. Just north to the cistern is a place with a question mark on it. I climbed up there, looked down and saw a purple room which has some statues in it.
How to get into that place?

Don't BlackJack me or anything, but i did a sneaksie thing with that Cube! Since i canny figure out these puzzles, i
leant through the door and grabbed the cube that way!
:nono:
