Did you find "The Truth"? You should have had to break a window in the last room of the "puzzle" section.

Ghosting.
Nightwalker is 99% correct:). It have ghosted it completely several times with all the loot, secrets, and available pockets (off by one). The only exception is breaking that one window to get the Truth. If you are a serious ghoster, you can simply avoid completing the optional Truth objective and achieve Perfect Thief that way. There is no loot associated with the Truth. In my opinion, however, it is not worth spoiling the mission to just avoid one piece of broken glass.:)
Originally posted by Nightwalker It is possible to ghost the entire mission, with the exception of one window, which you HAVE to break. Some spots are a bit tricky, but can definitely be done. Peter Smith and myself both ghosted it during betatesting. :) I'm curious, how did you manage to ghost
the room on the second floor of the fortress circling the inner courtyard, where there's a man in one of the rooms and some loot on a table at the end of that room? I seem to recall that the room was well lit, and the position of the person in the room such that he inevitably notices anyone entering the room.
I confess that I didn't spend too much time studying all the options entering that room, but rather swiftly proceeded to deal a knock-out and moved on. I guess I have to revert back to that spot, too, and try it again. Perhaps a water arrow to the fireplace would help, or maybe the man turns every now and then so that it's possible to sneak past him.
Hi,
I am stuck in the cavern. Picked up the two rubies and then went to the other cavern with the tree beasts and picked up Lord Alan. But where do I go from here? Is there an exit in the rooms with all the steaming fire holes - that is where I entered when I took the "bold step" :)

You're on the right track, but......
...you need to explore the caverns more carefully. Did you find a large stone face already?
I'll give you more clues if this doesn't help you along, although I think you'll do fine!

Nightwalker: Oh yeah, that one. But I tought that exceptions are allowed in ghosting if it's required to complete an objective.
and...
Mika: Hmm. If you mean the guy looking through the window, then when I was playing he was facing the window all the time so he didn't see me. The tile floor was the tricky part there.

Mika,
don't I feel like an idiot! Right in front of me. Done everything but cannot figure out how to get the thing (forgot name) to return to the dead guy (forgot his name!) in the jail cell. Any hints? In the lower basement I can get to a circular room with small openings and see what I need to get but do not know how to get in there. Help! Great FM... lots of places to explore and lots of secrets.

;)
Do you mean you need to find a way to
return 'The Truth' (the mask) to Sir Ignaz (the mage in the cell in lower basement area)? For that you must first obtain the key that's on the pedestal in the Chapel. That'll lead you towards obtaining 'The Truth'. To get the key you need a special gem. I won't spoil more at this time, let me know if you need more clues!
As to your second question regarding
a 'circular room' in lower basement -- I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. I don't recall a circular room with small openings in that area, unless you mean the vault area, which is on the level just above the cell level (where Sir Ignaz is held). Accessing the vault requires precise timing and is a bit of a challenge, but not at all impossible.
If I didn't get right what you were referring to, let me know!

The rule is that exceptions are allowed if they are explicitly required in an objective that is necessary to complete the mission. For example, to kill person X (many FM's) or to BJ seven AI (Running Interference). Secondary exceptions that a player deems necessary to meet a primary objective are not allowed, for example to slash a banner. The reason for this is that anyone could claim that anything is necessary, and each case would result in debates. We decided that it was better to have missions that were not ghostable, for one reason or another, than to have an ever-growing list of exceptions and rulings.
For the case in question, breaking glass, the objective is optional, so it can be bypassed.

yes, I meant to say return the truth mask to Sir Ignaz. There is a set of double doors in the lower basement, one level above Sir Ignaz, that leads to a room in which you can see the truth mask below but cannot get to it from there.
I believe I already got the key on the pedestal in the church but I will double check. What is the key name?
Thanks.
