I think your problems with the mission that are spoiling the fun are caused by you having to do too much searching before finding the Library.
If you get the Amulet as soon as possible, you can enjoy all the scripted sequences without the monsters spawning and spoiling things. The Library is in the Research Centre, which is below the Necromancer's Tower. It's marked on the map. You DID meet Keeper Orlo and get the key, right?
Just finished playing it- GREAT MISSION! Much better than even Lorgan's Web imho.
I loved the bit with the flying spell books, and the guy who warns you about the wizard after reading the notice outside of the necromancer's tower had me laughing out loud!
I can't wait for the next mission, please tell me it won't be a 3 or 4 year wait:erm:.

I like LOP and the use of the maps and layout changes are great. Minor bugs encountered that I will email you for future consideration.
I very much enjoyed the comic relief
with the lovesick suicidel
LOL
Thanks for some fun. Now to try Ghosting the damn thing. :D :thumb:

Wonderful mission Shadowspawn , one that probably needs several plays to fully appreciate it . I started again last night and quickly found myself on the ground rather than the rooftops , it was like a completly different game . I came across stuff that I'd missed the first time through
Such as the giant frog/insurance guy
Great !

As far as I know, all the banners in both Thief games are STATIC, some of the banners in Lord Fishkill's Curse are animated with 5-6 frames, they move, one that comes to mind is the large hammerite banner hanging from the long pole you can crawl on to reach the other side.

BTW: The sequel is in the works, but don't hold your breath. It takes me so long to make a mission. This new one has so much custom stuff, it'll be awhile. And I think it has a much better story.
Oh, stop it! You're cruel :cheeky:
This has got to be the all time best FM.
And I've played 'em all, I believe. And I can get carried away, it's true. So maybe a grain, just a grain of salt is needed...
But, wow! How many people enjoyed this to no end? Everyone! (but that one, of course)
I'm still in it, and I've seen a lot of stuff.
I need to find Orlo 'gain. I came here (late, cuz I didn't want to read anything at all until I'd gotten a bunch out of it) thinking maybe I'd found a slight sequence bug, but it appears I can find him again...
I'm back to it.
For another thing, Jimmy I hardly knew ye, left you warm (not dead but knocked out). I've gotsta see all of these possiblities. Hope I saved somewhere along there.
This one goes to 11.

I think I've gone about as far as I can with this one. BTW, thanks a bunch for several days of fun, shadowspawn. I've got 4,075 of 4,255 loot.
Is the rest of the loot collectible or maybe requires a scripted sequence like Jimmy's mom? I've also got 18 of 17 pockets. So, now I've lost confidence on the pockets statistic. Are there more pockets to pick?
16 locks, 1 knockout, 2 of 2 secrets, and 4:08:59.
Thanks again.

Old Man
Jimmy's Mom gives you a small reward but it's not much.
I'm surprised that Peter Smith didn't notice if the pickpocket count was off. He usually picks up on stuff like that, which I always miss. He probably has a loot list for the mission too. I didn't make one. :)
Sir Lance
You need to get into the building towards Angelwatch that is right beside the Bank and the balcony that Jimmy stands on.
I didn't make one. :)The fact that 18 out of 17 were found tells me that this tally was set by the designer (left unset it often overstates what is available, but never understates it).
Here's the problem -- The designer has to know how many pockets there really are in the mission to ensure that the right number gets set. And since the game is rather vague in how it counts a picked pocket, it's really a guess until enough players report what seems to be the actual upper limit. The database should simply count these automatically and correctly -- but this does not often happen properly, and that is why the designers need to set this number at all.
