Search the sewers for a dead thief.

As for the red serpent quest, what is that?
I've been running around now a while trying to find Rynolf & Wrenn, but I can't find them.
As for the winecellar somebody mentioned awhile back, is that the one where Benny passes out?
-The Blackjack-
 That's funny 'cuz that's exactly where I stopped & saved before I posted..
Thanks Tannar :thumb:

To find Rynolf and Wrenn, search the sewers for their quarters.
Yes, the wine cellar is where Benny passes out.

Great mission! I'm excited to see what comes next! :thumb:
One question, though: Do we ever find out what those creepy monster things haunting the apartment were and what that stone is that Nancy gives you? It's just too ominous to not become important later on! ;)

Not Yet...
I had a great time testing this one, the authors approach is fresh and unique and is a pleasure to play.

I enjoyed the mission a lot, Random_Taffer. It kept me entertained for two evenings. I enjoyed all the mini-quests and interacting objects. I was ghosting and got all the loot (perfect thief) except for one minor blemish, as decribed below. Thank you! :)
The ghost blemish was that on entering Rybolf's room, I found him standing on the table nearly staring at the wine bottle. I couldn't get past him, and I couldn't get him to move, so the only way to complete the objective was to BJ him. I'm sure that is a random occurrence, but maybe his path could be adjusted to help prevent it.
Another strange thing, which I can't find reported here, is that I went into the Billowing Sails with the proper invitation, and I found myself locked inside after a little thieving. I reloaded a save I made just after entering the Billowing Sails, and sure enough, the door locked itself, or the outside guard locked it, at the moment I reloaded. Looked a long time without finding an escape route. I reloaded to a save a half hour previous, and it did not happen the second time through. I kept running down to check the door to make sure it was not a timed thing. It didn't seem to be.

I'm sure R_T will have something to say about this but I can assure you that neither of those things ever happened during the many beta versions tested. Guess you were just the lucky one. :cheeky:

I went back to Rybolf's room to see again if I could disloge him. I managed to alert him without being spotted. He looked around for a few minutes, always glued to the table, but eventually he slid off, and eventually he resumed his normal patrol. The normal patrol was nowhere near the table, and the wine bottle was an easy grab in that mode. I don't know how he could have ended up on the table. I was being pretty quiet, ghosting and all, so I don't think I could have alerted him while outside his room. It's possible he heard me while I was poking around in the empty room above the ladder, but, if so, I did not hear him complain.

Ravenhook has just reminded me that he did see this problem with Rynolf during testing. R_T adjusted his patrol route and I guess we didn't have another occurance after that. Looks like he managed to do it again after all. Glad you managed to get past him though. Good job.
