Well, I'll admit.. you have me stumped on the 10th secret/easter egg.:grr: *shakes fist*
There are only to things in this mission I cannot "get", one being [spoiler] the room/building to the north west that you cannot get into next to the armory, [/spoiler]
and the other being the[spoiler] letters on the boookcases. [/spoiler]
I did manage to gain access to the exterior yard area of the Cathedral by "exploiting a map hole" over [spoiler] the very same building I can't get into and going the "Thief's Highway" route.[/spoiler]:ebil:

That building next to the office building beside the armoury has no access. The letters on the bookcase don't mean anything.
The tenth secret is a mental puzzle. See the post above for hints.
BTW-are those hints not a good enough clue? More hints maybe? Only one percent of taffers have the secret so far. Should I maybe give another hint?

Okay, this is driving me crazy because I've got that feeling there should be something, but there isn't.
[SPOILER]When you're looking through the 'peephole' in the altar, upstairs in that long stone passage from Truart's big secret, where that lady is being turned into a servant- am I supposed to see anything in that church except empty pews and the double doors? I hear church bells ring but nothing happens. I even sat there for several minutes. It just feels like I'm supposed to see something! I gave up but when I checked my stats after completing the game I only had 9/10 secrets, so now it's eating away at me.[/SPOILER]

Did anybody manage to suggest anything for Brian's problem posted on 2 November? I have the same problem - suddenly none of my arrows (water, broadhead, rope) work at all - although they did at the beginning of the mission. Ideas welcome please! Thanks

That is a flukey thing that none of us ran into testing. I'm not sure why that has happened to you, and I don't know what to suggest. Maybe we should all be in the habit (me included) of saving a save now and then which is a regular save and not a quick save. That way we can go back to a problem free time in the game. I used to do long saves galore in Thief Gold.

No nothing is supposed to happen there. That is more just story and not gameplay. Brother Scientes is told to look at the mongrel masses during the next service. No church services in the middle of the night. The one brother is just telling the other brother to see how disgusting these street people are and realize that there is a better use for them, the servants.

I have reached the ape beast area, BJ'ed all the ape beasts but one, found some loot, and now I am stuck. I see two places to go but no way to go there.[SPOILER]There is a window in the hedge with an ape beast patrolling in there. There is a tree stump in front of the window. I cannot mantle, jump, or rope up to the top of the stump. Rope arrows don't stick in the hedge - they make a thunk sound, but you see no rope or arrow. It seems too far to go back for crates. Can't find another entrance.[/SPOILER] [SPOILER]There is something that looks like a tall tree stump that has an opening in the top. Can't get up there. Ropes don't stick. There is a red rock in the opposite tree that says "Wantsie bridgie? Whersie scarsie?" I can't decipher that. Nothing is scary to me other than the poison plants, and I can't find a switch up there.[/SPOILER] Help please:)

What you need to do is go over to where you see the two large rocks next to one of the entrances. Make your way in between them and crouch. You will find the entrance and what you need there.
