Many textures are just slapped on without alignment. I think there's too many torches all over the place. There's no wind ambients outside. Nothing much in those first buildings where you had to rope-arrow up to make it worth the trouble. No new objectives in harder settings, i noticed. Not enough detail.
This mission may have it's bad points but it has it's good points too. I liked the music that was playing in the Taffers' Tarvern. I liked that toilet in the bathroom, the one that actually looked like a toilet! I liked the conversation between those 2 guards at the start. (Very funny!) I liked the double doors set between windows. I liked reading all the scrolls and books. (All nice and short!) There's other stuff that i liked too but i can't recall them at the moment since i've just woke up!
I have to agree with sluggs. :eww: I didn't want to mention that, because I feel I'm not an expert in mission-building, but the architecture looks really plain to me in a couple of places. I mean sometimes there are plain walls, no decorations really. A good example is a swimming-pool room. I entered this room and... I was a little put off... One air brush and a water brush inside... Nothing more than that... To my taste, it seems that it's not that important to build a huge mission. And if such empty rooms are to be created, perhaps they might be eliminated. After all, there were so many T2 FMs, which sort of "spoilt" the players, because they had a great and very rich architecture!
Yet, I like Mixed Messages and as sluggs mentioned, the dialogues are fun, I LOVE the music in the tavern, it's so jolly!!! And the dialogue between the two guards at the start of the mission was outstanding!!! I had a good laugh here.
I'm still struggling to complete this FM... :D

Alright, thanks. I'm browsing the net for codes and cyphers now.
OK i am nearly at the end of my finite patience, where is the component in the pagan forest i need to get that machine working? :(
Sluggs on 1/11/2003 at 22:35
Never mind that component, where's the forest? I've been everywhere and i'm stuck. Still haven't a clue what that code is, the clues don't tell me anything! :o

I'm in the same boat as shadows. Anyone?
Sluggs on 1/11/2003 at 22:54
Sorry, i'm on expert. I have been all over, i think i've found all the secrets and all the hints for the code to that door, but i can't figure them out! I'm no good with puzzles, that's my Uncle - not me. I'm sure when i get the code to that door i'll be able to get further. I also noticed a metal door, (secret one), in that same room with the door panel but have not found a way in there.
Any hints for that code?

I have some special problem with the portal:
I can´t to put the stones into these four hollows by the portal. It only gives out some sort of ting. I noticed suchlike problem with the stone (part of the statue) in the room with the cell with the girl, I also can´t to put or drop this stone. In my game binds it´s all okay, so I don´t know, what´s wrong?
Please help, thanks.

sluggs,
I assume you mean the door with the keypad. You need to google and find what those dots represent. it's braille.
Kiz,
You need to 'drop' the stones in carefully into the holes.
