Beltzer, another winning fan mission. The music at the old house is fantastic.... Not quite finished with the mission, but getting close. :)

I've got the hook from the warehouse and used it on the cable leading from the upper window of the smaller warehouse. Something isn't right. I see the hook halfway down the cable but am unable to "grab" it. I only fall to the street. Then, when I frob the door to the nearby small house (or just walk around a bit), suddenly I'm on the zip line but am unable to let go and drop to the ground. Am I missing the proper sequence on how to use the zip line?
I did manage to somehow fall from the cable, landing on the guard and killing him, which alerted the other guards. The setup is unique, but there should've been a little less light in the front yard. Otherwise, the zip line is just a gimmick, unable to facilitate getting past the guards unseen.

This FM needs to be fixed or else I'm doing something wrong. I followed the mage all the way back to the cliff, watching him take out the monsters, etc. When he was finished, he stood there, so I tried frobbing him. Nothing. I sent a couple of fire arrows his way, hit him with the sword, and other things. Still, he would not frob. I also tried the old save/reload trick. Nada.
All objectives are complete except the final one.

You are right, its not a pleasant bug. You could try to just let him stand there
for a while, 10 minutes or so. Or whait for the Campaign. I'm working on some
sequels. I'll ask for help whith this problem, i'm sure its about the aiwatch setup.
Thanks dbrilliant, hope you finished it :)

I feel your pain, brother. I looked at the whole setup in Dromed and was impressed by the complexity of the mage and his task of having to travel quite a distance to kill specific targets.
About halfway through making Shadow Plans, I came up with this idea of penalizing Garrett for stealing from the poor. Different. Sort of cool. But when I threw it out to other authors for help, it gave even seasoned veterans fits on how to pull it off. The result wasn't totally satisfactory but it worked.
Yandros, Sensut and Nameless Voice (if you can pull him out of retirement) are three who I'd recommend for help if you need it.

Thanks Ricebug. It was not easy, it felt like my brain spinned inside my head trying to make it work. It tends to get messy after a while. And thanks for the tips for help :thumb:
I hope i can get it to work.

you would stay and wait for an eternity for the mage to be frobable....I jumbed up at the rocks at the right side of the bridge, then i fall inside at the left bunk, i roped in one of the rotaring planks, then jumbed at the opposite side where the metal open door is and went all the way back to my room and the game came over...!!!:idea::cheeky:

I appear to be missing something that no-one else has missed. All but 5 people are ''Äsleep'' in the town, after getting the sword. I even put those around the murdered lady ''to sleep''. incase the body triggers a quest item, to no avail I've stacked crates against the barrior with the barred steel gate, the gate which leads to a bridge and grassy area. I even tried bashing the bar but to no effect. I've got 3179 loot to date and 2'.43" in, and cannot find way past the initial town. How do you progress to the next area, or is my mission broken.
