When I approached him, he did not get into that state within 5 minutes, and he was sort of stuck in the very last tree before the cliff.
So, I gave him a shot with a firearrow to get him going once more. And after cooling down he finally became frobbable after a short while.

Edit:
Finished. A very enjoyable mission, minus several wonky bits that could be improved:
- The adventurey item collecting aspect of the haunted house was a bit vague at times.
- There were invisible walls in silly places (the manor with the zipline hook as prime suspect - I could've very easily have scaled the wall, but the arbitrary barrier kept me from doing so. Oh, and the zipline landed me RIGHT next to a guard - at least aim for the bushes, bro!)
- The group next to the dead body in town was a bit oversensitive and panicky, and there weren't enough shadows nearby. Lots of quickloads there.More plz!

Now I have been stuck for several hours at the Haunted house.
Progress done so far.
Reached as far as possessing the book, got talisman part from locker with skeleton all bloody and used it on the pedestal next to the Crystal ball, have rope arrow'd to roof for a red crystal, having run up and down between the bridge scenery and haunted house scenery in case anything got "updated" but Garrett never respondes with "guess things have changed" like some other players here has reported happening at the bridge.
What I may be stuck at, by the side of the dresser is a lock that I dont have a key for, since it's unpickable which I suspect is holding me back from progressing.
Edit: Just figured how to write down the glyphs, the blank paper in work room was badly overlooked by me.

Neither the window boards, nor the door boards to that will break. I have tried throwing the rubble at them and 2 fire arrows, etc. Nothing works. No apparent switches. At the other end of the house, upward a bit off that semi-library area, there is a big claw and an unfrobable door next to it. It seems opposite the little super strong window and maybe another way in... I have tried all sorts of things there too. Can't open it. The very thick small window on the upper balcony cannot be broken either. No trap doors in the roof that go into the dead woman's bedroom that I could find. Still very stumped.
Hello I am still stuck at this part been back to the bridge and returned I have found one red gem and the staff looking thing that
goes down in flooded basement I need to know how to get in the room that is boarded up????:tsktsk: you can PM me with the answer or spoil the solution, but I am getting tired of going in circles.

I have gotten a little farther I have been down to the crystal ball several times but this time I heard a note being scribbled I am now in the boarded room!:confused:

Now the person that kills the demons is in the bedroom where the rat is and he thinks the rat is a threat and he will not leave?????? He keeps shaking his arms up and down like he wants to kill the poor rat???? He is supposed to clear the way home for me isn't he???:confused::confused:
