OK I used a rope arrow to go down the broken elevator that says "out of order" where I found the bank roll and I have all of my objectives completed.....BUT...now I do not know HOW to get out and back to my room! I tried the gate outside, but it is locked and I do NOT have a key and it is unpickable! Of course, I cannot climb back up the broken elevator either...so HOW do I get out???

You got in the wrong way but I think you can still get out. [SPOILER] Go into the main room that has Marat's bedroom door off of it and look for a big hole in the wall across from it. Flip the lever on the wall nearby, climb the ladder and you'll end up in the sewers. There's a way up to town in there. [/SPOILER]

The right way in to the Thieves' area is [SPOILER] to get the Warren key from the Mayor's house and use it to unlock a gate. Inside you rope arrow up to a ledge and enter a part of the Thieves' area that has a working elevator. Taking that up now wouldn't do you much good unless you already have the Warren key but just didn't use it. [/SPOILER]

I have to confess that you've come across a slight glitch in the game,[SPOILER]You were meant to get the key to the Warren area to get down to the sewers. I never expected people to rope arrow down as I kept dying when I tried it.[/SPOILER]
However it's OK because..[SPOILER]There is a lever on the wall near the round tunnel {opposite Marat's room} which will open the sewer hatch at the far end of theround tunnel. After that you can get some swimming practice.[/SPOILER]

Thanks everyone....yeah....It DID take over half my health, but I made it down the shaft! You have to have FULL HEALTH in order to do it and slide down the rope COMPLETELY.....before you drop.....I did it actually a couple of times (reloaded and tried it again) so I KNOW it works!

UPDATE: Well I found the lever and made it all the way back to my room! So the rope arrow DOES work with full health!

stuck. help please. getting the dizziness i usually get when i stop sneaking and am running all around trying to find a way to progress.

[SPOILER]1: can't get into bank. is it possible? i hear guards. i got into the open shutter window on the nearby building with the boxes.

2: how do i get over the canal of water and into the next part of town? on the map i am on the "left" side. i tried to use the sewer, but that just deposited me into the canal itself. saw the burricks in the middle of the sewer didn't see anything other than the purse among the bones. climbed all the ladders nearby but can't figure out how to get to the "right" side of town. the buildings with flowers and archeways are caging me up.[/SPOILER]

spoilers not hints please, the hour and a half i spent trying to navigate past them is sucking the fun out of the mission. thanks.
