There are 3 mech statues. One in the very beginning. 2 in the end of this mission. There are also a gemstone at the very end. Last but not least: Watch out in the near of a working robot! Thanks for all your positive feedback and sorry if you can´t understand my english :cheeky:
I'm sorry, do you mean the disabled spider-robots? Also, what counts as "the end?" It all connects back on itself!

You´re right.

statue #2: in the vent (disabled spider-robot).
statue #3: on a crate near the starting point.
gemstone #1: Near the dead pagans.

I'm in mission 1, Expert, have dropped down to a platform at the side of the ship, cannot go back, and cannot dismount from a short sloping ladder that would get me on to the next platform. What gives???
Can't get in the Control Room or lift cage, and get stuck on the platform mentioned above. Can anyone help?

I just downloaded this FM, so I haven't played it yet. But, I noticed I already had another FM with a very similar name "Festung Valth 0.9_final.zip" (Fortress Vaulth on Cheap Thief Missions). My notes said I last played this Sept 2011 and was in German only. Is this one the English version or is it completely new and different from the older one?

This is a perfectly different mission.
And it seems you missed the english version of 'Fortress Valth', which came out quite some time after the german one.
Just download v1.1 from ThiefMissions. (

I have now resolved my own difficulty with mission 1 and finished the FM. I liked mission 2, but I have to say I thought the design of mission 1 was poor. I dislike invisible walls, which were used to make the sides of the ship and its superstructure inaccessible. And then I found the player needs to happen upon a gap in the invisible walls at one specific place in order to proceed. :tsktsk:

Thanks Gnartsch for the tip.
I just now noticed that I didn't download the right mission on the web page from the first link above by not looking further down the page. Bonehead move.
On the bright side, I inadvertently downloaded the English update to the older FM and now I have 2 to play!

WOW, I absolutely loved this group of missions. I had wet palms and dry mouth the whole time. Great job 3mdrin!
keep em coming.

Nice work, 3mdrin! :D Surely inspirated by creepy Abysmal Gale but it would be creepier with ambient light 0 0 0 ;)
Why have you divided it by 2 missions?

Nice OM style mechanist mission! Got cocky on the 2nd level and jumped out of my seat when the engineer zombie came up from behind me!
