Found it. Hard to believe I didn't spot it. To anyone interested
the key is located on the floor next to a pile of bones which is located between two large generators.Finished up quickly after finding it. Fun mission, thanks!

There's no software needed in the Alternative link, John, - but you do need to click the
smallest 'Download', in the middle of the page. Otherwise thiefmissions has it:(

A lot of sites are doing that these days and it takes quite a bit of effort to find the right download link - the right one is always the smallest though.
