First-class mission, Wille :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: - as much as I enjoyed Unlucky Soul, I can see now you were just getting warmed up :cheeky:
Really Thiefy, with great architecture (assumed the main part is a real museum?). layout that provided terrific gameplay, puzzles that were challenging but readily solvable with the excellent readables, & really good sound. (And everything else...)
Those domes were amazing!
Thoroughly enjoyed this & really looking forward to part 3!

This was a stunning stunning mission, an absolute joy to stroll the halls through. I found myself just looking at things, looking at the combination of stone and woodwork. That old world feel to it. It was near perfection, colors, textures, so well done. Touches of elegance. This mission was beautifully crafted. Damn fine Willie. Damn fine man.
I liked the music too. I will remember this museum! ;) Can I work there? :p
We'll all await the next installment! :)

I'm missing one secret and about 200 loot (200 to finish, I mean); I think this secret hasn't any loot, so these are two separate problems...
The secret I'm missing is the secret passage connecting the sewers and what is described as a "lunch hall." I can't find the sewer end, so I'm hoping to find the other terminus... can anybody tell me where the "lunch hall" is?
Second, can somebody suggest a cache of loot I might have missed? I got the skull in the case, the other two (pickable) cases, the vault, the other secrets, and all the stuff obviously out in the open that I saw. I could easily have missed stuff... but 600 worth is a lot of missing! Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dafydd

Dafydd: the
sewer secret -
the gate you had to open (via a lockbox) to get from the sewers to the basement area; imm to the right of that is another openable gate. Follow that path until you find a frobbable steam valve. However, the path opened lead me back to the main library (no idea what Klatremus means by "lunch-hall")Hope that made sense.
Loot - sorry, can't remember any large caches
(apart from the vault). Klatremus has a loot list linked (

Some easily missed loot:
-Tiara on statue next to the sapphire vase in west wing
-Coins in dry fountain in western front yard
-Candlesticks and vase behind basement crates
-Silver sextant in pirate display
Klatremus must mean the library with "lunch-hall".

Some easily missed loot:
Also, this one:
Coin at the bottom of the elevator shaft.Fantastic mission, Wille. Great mix of excellent architecture, good puzzles, and challenging AI. Even up and above all those, great plot and backstory. This kind of thing really elevates an FM's experience for me. Very impressive.
Can't wait to
explore and infiltrate the underground shrine in Part 3.

Yeah, I wrote much of the list in the first beta, before I knew what the different rooms were. I simply called it the lunch hall because I saw tables and a goblet in there, then forgot to change it later. Sorry about the confusion. Naturally it is a library, but then again there are so many libraries in this mission.

Is it necessary to have played the first Mystic Gems before playing this?
It looks really cool and I want to play but not if it is going to mess up the story.
