There is a hint in the book that Kevel checked out from the public library. Hint 2:
Who could the ghost be and what would he be attached to?

Yes, you need to
bring something to the ghost.
Hint:
Explore cell 6.Bigger hint:
You are looking for the signet ring that Shylock's father left there. Bring that with you and offer it to the ghost.Outright spoiler:
Turn off the power, get the Master Cell key from the patrolling archer in the cell block. Use it to open cell 6. Look above the bed for a removable brick. Take the ring that is behind that brick to the ghost and drop it on the floor.Oh gosh I didn't think about
dropping it. THANKS!

Turning off the generator should not fail that objective. Try reloading an earlier save and doing it again. It is possible that you failed the mission in some other way and it only actually ended at that moment. I had a similar thing happen when I was testing this.
Ah, hah! So did I have this problem, now a re-do.. ;) Thanks Tannar....:cheeky:

I really loved this mission. I did find completing the objectives a little hard. I spent way too much time looking for the wardens office switch. Also the record in the interrogation room finished and I did not realize to frob it twice.
Overall great fun and would love to see either this mission expanded or some more like it. The disguise stuff was used in other missions but not quite in this way.

Also the record in the interrogation room finished and I did not realize to frob it twice. You should not have had to
frob it twice. It's possible that you just didn't wait quite long enough after it finished playing before frobbing it the first time. Once the recording is completely finished, it should only take one frob to get it.

I think he meant he didn't realize he had to frob it again (once to play it, once to take it).

Ah. You're probably right. My mistake.

Hmmm...I don't see any manual locks in the prison. Am I missing something incredibly obvious?
