I'm really enjoying this mission but like some others here have run into the tomb room snag. I have read the hints here as well as the diary and the note and it looks like I'm supposed to frob the bird, dog, cat, bat and fish in that order. I'm also looking at their frames with the little dark marks around them and choosing the ones that are similar. I've frobbed the bird (east side near center) and it chimes and the dog (west) and it chimes. I think I'm supposed to next frob the cat (east side far right) which has the same frame but it doesn't make a sound when I frob it and then the bat (east side far left) and lastly the fish. It seems it times out after a while too. I've been jumping from one rope to another in this room far too long trying to frob these and at this point I'm literally at the end of my rope and wondered if someone could give me an outright spoiler at this point.

You're right on the order of animals, and to be looking for symbols in the positions shown by the darker squares around the frame, but most of the frames are (intentionally) wrong. Only the unique pattern of the frame around the fish shows where you need to frob.Devorgilla on 21/4/2013 at 00:48

Tried randomly shooting at different shapes hoping one might be wood, but they were all stone. Even mantling to a bit higher level didn't help.
Maybe I missed one of the lights on the way down. Starting from scratch to try again - love this mission!

FOUND IT!!! - Found the small piece of wood I missed before when I fell instead of making my way down slowly :)

I am little dense here. Ooja mentions he hid a key. Where is it hidden?
When I first started this mission I thought Oh no, not another tomb raider type mission. After finding my way down so far it turns out to be fun even if I do have to reload 50 times.
Never mind. I found it. I just needed to search a little bit more.

I am tearing my hair out over this, I need some help getting down, please...
I've gone as far down as I can, not even half way, haha, basically i am throwing flares out and they're not landing on any outcropping that i can jump to next. It's just a big dark drop as far I can see. Across from me is a opening with 3 long cone shaped rocks hanging down blocking the way even if i was to jump across. I am stumped...
EDIT: Nevermind, I got past it. If anyone else is at this stage, the solution is that you need to find places to stick rope arrows to proceed, it's just so damn dark, it totally messes with your senses, anyway, down we go!

@bedwine For the key - it is hidden fairly nearby to where you found the note - you don't need to climb back upthe sinkhole. Bigger clue underneath the building
@shadows Yes, the place with the 3 cones is where you want to go. You can jump from a rope shot in the beam next to the pipe with the body and diary - maybe need to go lower on the rope than you think?

It takes a while to get started. You have to save and reload quite a few times to find your way down. Keep looking to places to shoot your rope arrows. Your first landing should be
in a pipe with a body and a diary
