Yeah, I was really getting into it, enjoying the story and wanted to see more, forgetting that this was a contest FM (with size restrictions), not a full FM, so when it ended, I was like damn this FM has potential to be expanded...
Perhaps if the author is interested, he or she might make this into a full fledged FM.

Alas no. But if you do a flythrough in DromEd game mode, you'll be able to see the nice little setup that makes the hole "bottomless". :)

Did you turn on
the lantern next to the corpse in the large pipe? If so, it should light up
a nearby wood plank, now a few meters above you, that you can shoot a rope at to get across.

most of the rock is not made from stone, but from soil. Even if it does not look like that.So, rope arrows should work pretty good.
