Thanks Kdau, do you know where can i find the key to the door that has a lion face above?
Have a look
below the collapsed hut, where the Steward and Qoja had lived.

Cool start to the game but I'm
tired of falling so I quit.I'm afraid I have to agree with this one. Really wanted to play, and I like how the dark is used. Not that I enjoy not being able to see. . .but having plenty of flairs and a lantern that was actually USEFUL is kinda cool. But. . .yeah, really getting tired of reloading after falling so many times, and making little progress - and not being able to see clearly to plan out more progress. Its too stressful when I'm already at my limit. So I'll have to shelf this one for now.
:( Sorry to the author. It is a cool concept, seems to be well done. But even playing on the easiest difficulty is too frustrating at this point.

I was about to give up at the beginning. I finally got to the first landing. When I found the second I realized it may be easier from than I thought. I can see how people could get frustrated.
If there were one or two light sources that set to magically go on after 40 minutes of the player not making it to first landing would have been nice. There are a lot of rope arrows. Use them.
I am going back to "Unseen" after succeeding with this one. That one was one that I gave up on.

This.
It's too bad the rope arrows can only hang vertically, otherwise there are enough to make a whole safety net!
The entire top section of the hole has dirt walls that can hold rope arrows, so you can put them all over if you want. It's just a matter of shooting one so that it hangs near
the sewer pipe. Try aiming for one of the spots where
the dirt wall juts out a little bit, at about eye level when you're standing near the light switch in the "basement."Below that, there aren't many different options for
shooting the rope arrows. It's just a matter of
finding whatever wood is available and using it.Edit: like this... (mild spoiler alert)

Thanks for a frustrating and satisfying little mission. I'm glad I stuck with it.
Though I did kick myself when I realized pretty much all the way down that I had a lantern. At least it made going back up easier.

Read all the books/scrolls you have collected and examine
the frieze near the ceiling. If you want specific details, look at skacky's series of eight hints on the first page of this thread.

Indeed. There are lots more intriguing options in the material-format.txt documentation, too.

Thanks Kdau, can you tell me the coordinates to the bird, the cat, the dog and the bat?

The fish can tell you the coordinates. Just look closely at the designs around the fish.

I really enjoyed this though I wasn't sure if I would at first. It was a challenging climb but fun (as long as you save VERY often) though I never would have solved the puzzle at the bottom without skacky's hints so thank you very much for posting those. Thanks very much, mystery author! :)
