Aww I'm not gonna win the contest now I mean really nice mission you've made MysteryMan but it just uses all nice stuff that I wouldn't be able to get:eek:

Don't you worry Sneaky Guy, I'm sure your entry will be good too. ;)
As for this mission, I really enjoyed it even if timed objectives aren't my cup of tea. It was a fun heist with tons of loot to find (so many pickpockets!) and some really tight patrols sometimes.

I suppose I shouldn't have chosen Expert for my first playthrough. I can't find enough loot to win.
I've found 4 of 5 Secrets (the bathroom dice, the dagger, the compartment with chests, and Evy's resting place). I have 13829 out of 14239 and I need 14000, which I assume will be in the 5th secret since I've picked everyone's pocket (23/24 but I believe I missed picking one before the application of my blackjack).
I've spent over 15 minutes searching for something to tip me over the limit, but I'm getting nowhere. Could I get a nudge towards the secret I'm missing?

Looks like you have
just missed it. There are 2 secrets where you found your chest. Go through the grate, and look for a secret switch inside.

AHHHH, a secret within a secret! You tricksy, tricksy man!
I'm normally not a fan of timers on missions, but it really works great for this one.
I do wish I could've brought Dew Drop to Carolyn, though. But I'm just a sucker for making my own bonus objectives. :)

I know I missed a few things, from clues in-game and comments here - a door on the roof? hidden people?
so much packed into such a tight space, congratulations anonymous author!

Just finished my first play through. I normally hate timed missions but I didn't mind this one. It was a fun exercise. If I have any criticism it is that the number of guards was a bit unrealistic for a museum of that size. But it did make for a fun challenge. I enjoyed the mission and thought it was well done. Congrats, Mystery Man!

Normal difficulty reduces the number of guards by 10, but there is less loot to guard. The Baron is a stickler for security. Normal difficulty the second time around can be completed in 8 minutes because of only having 14 guards in the mission.
The Technical aspect was to make the best use of space, and with any less than 24 guards total,it felt too empty. But, yes you hit the nail on the head. The heavily guarded Museum was needed for a Life/Death challenge. Being in a timed mode presents a Challenge, but only with a lot of resistance. Glad you enjoyed it Tannar. In a real life timed event, the pressure of overcoming the challenge to save a life,or two would be difficult to bear, besides you cannot reload, and try again. One chance, and one chance only. If you don't succeed the first time, your friends die. This is the concept in which I designed this mission. How much pressure can you bear?

Very nice, fun mission and a good challenge! Should be some low times as players find the best routes for the different difficulties!
This was a second run through after a couple of hours of gameplay - but plan to play on other difficulties as well.
Very good time Sagittal.
Thanks MrMunkeepants and Empyrium.
Here is my time for now.
12 minutes flat-Master Difficulty-All of the Loot, and all pick pockets-All 5 secrets-18 knockout's,no alerts, no bodies found.

This would be implemented for the final public release. We will see how it goes here for now.

This was great, Mystery Man (if that is your REAL name...:weird:). I was a bit worried when I saw the mention of a time limit in the readme, being as that's about my least favorite gameplay device, but it actually added to it quite a bit. I ended up having barely anytime to escape, and used a slowfall potion to jump off the building onto the exit- which made me feel all sorts of badass.
Here are my extremely unimpressive end stats! (I cheated and looked up one of the secrets on this thread)

Great, The Mike, and thanks for posting your stats screen. You did a good time, and found most of everything.
Next time you play, if you decide you want to:
I just sent a Regular version without the Timed Objectives to Brethren. I felt everyone was being scared off by the challenge. There will be the Regular version and the Challenge version, so everyone will have an option.
Thanks again Brethren for hosting this contest!
