I really enjoyed playing this one! Definitely a very challenging FM!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Thanks (yet again) Yandros!

Thank you very much Yandros, I enjoyed playing a well-designed, skillfully executed short yet very balanced map. I don't play Thief since many years, and it is incredible how much this game has to offer even to this date.
Of course, as I didn't play in a long time, my 'spider sense' is a bit rusty and I failed miserably a few times - especially the patrol route of THAT guard (you know which one...) is really difficult to anticipate. I ended up (totally unanticipated and unexpectetdly) to have it chase me in the lift while I was activating it, and in the end I managed to send it down and leave his floor all for me to explore :)
Such a great, great game... Is there any way (other than AFx8 and AAx4) to further enhance the visuals?

Wow, what a fun little mission. Short and sweet, not stressful at all. A good 'kick back and relax' FM. :)

and the boss also has his eye on Gabby the new girl, and indicates what he has in store for the poor newby...Ug!I hope she's as sharp as she's supposed to be, and that her sword is even sharper, and that it ends up being
HER who sticks IT to HIM! :laff:
I for one am glad you did'nt limit the
light switching off bit (# of times wise i mean) cuz that woulda squelched some of my fun!
I got so ticked that all of a sudden something i never seen before was happening, the sobs were
actually turning back on the lights i turned off!, that I went "uh huh, okay, lets just see about THAT!"
and spent the next few minutes just screwin with the mofo by shadowing him and continually
turning off the ones he turned back on!, I think Gabby will definitely get the post as security chief, Will prolly had a nervous breakdown after MY lil visit!!! Muwahaha! :ebil:
If any of you ever creep into a room where a guy is sleeping and mumbling
"the lights, the lights, keep turning off, no, no ,nooooo, won't stay on, won't stay on, DEAR GOD THE LIGHTS WON'T STAY ON!", then you know who to blame for the poor guys nightmare!

Hey guys, I'm as dense as a rock here and I can't find the way to get past the gate door in the basement. I've tried searching the wall with the button like it was suggested, but I'm not seeing anything.
Could I get a screenshot with the solution or a direct answer? I would very much appreciate it.
And I swear to god I will strange whoever tells me to "look harder." I've been at this for half an hour already.

Do you mean the locked gate in the room with the workbench? If so, then you can't get in from the basement at all. You need to go to the main floor and find an elevator. It will take you down into that room and you'll find a key that unlocks the gate.

And in case you're stuck in the basement and can't figure out how to get to the first floor to try what Nightwalker said: Climb up on top of a big crate in the storage room with three cubbyholes.
