I'm really enjoying this fm, congrats Balboa, but it's a bit too difficult for me.
Now I'm stuck in the security room, I quite don't get it.
I set the 2 levers to friendly and clicked the button, nothing happened there's also a green rectangle the highlights but when I click nothing happes.
How do I disable the security????

When you first enter the security room,
the Mechanist side says 'Friendly', and the Thief side says 'Intruder'. Nothing happens if you press the button. If you
set both sides to either 'Friendly' or 'Intruder', the green screen displays an error message. However, if
you tell the Builder's Children that they are intruders, and thieves are friendly, all sorts of fun happens.

In the place where you
found the gems there is a clue for the last secret
I've found how to use the monocle where I discovered Sarnoth's hidden place, but I don't know what to do after getting those names
Maybe a hint ?

Maybe a hint ? The dead are silent and motionless as an effigy in stone.

I played this mission a few days ago, it took me about 3 days to finish mostly because some parts of the mission are very hard and frustrating. Let's start with the Inn where the starting point is. If you draw any weapons and attack the inhabitants you fail the mission. But even after you exit the inn on the streets nearby if the inhabitants follow you on the streets you still cannot attack them bacause again you fail the mission. Even if you attack a guard in front of them on the streets the mission still fails. That is very frustrating and has no logic.
Then lets talk about the architecture. The buildings in this city are mostly consisting by cubes with windows only a few are more complex. This is not interesting enough to explore.
Exploring the city itself is more fun, so there are not only bad things.
Then we reach the museum. The building is badly designed in my opinion, with fake doors everywhere, there is only one door that is real and working as a way in. In the museum I had the worst experience in my life when i stole the chalice and die. After the death I was resurected in the land of the death. Lets say that here the experience with a certain stone chair in the middle of a pool of lava is extremely hard and frustrating. Then another frustrating part with the labyrinth with the tree of life. I died there a lot of times and I needed to reload often. We have no weapons here and there are a lot of skeletons who can attack and kill us.
The last part of the mission was again very frustrating, because I finished all the other goals except the loot goal.. I was at 1700 loot and the goal is very high 4000 loot. So i needed to explore all the map again and again in search for every little piece of loot. Not a very fun thing to do.

First of all, I want to say that I LOVE watching lets-play vids of my missions, so that I can see where I missed the mark (so to speak). But lets move on to your observations.

Yes, that's on me. I'd expect that everyone would check their Objectives after starting a mission. But, that's not reasonable. I'll address that. ( (looks like a v1.2 is in the works)

Yes, that's a bug. Undercover-type missions are difficult. And even though this isn't a traditional 'undercover' mission, the problems are there, nevertheless. I will attempt to address this issue.

Here, I must disagree with you. Although I understand the issue with 'cubes with windows', when you are building an entire neighborhood, you need to make choices. Your opinion is valid.

Au contraire, there are three entrances into the museum. The 'fake' doors are only to limit the access points. But that's not the point...

That was the point. The journey to the underworld, where Garrett meets (so to speak) the Lord of the Dead.

Yes, the Realm of the Dead was supposed to be a challenge, but there were easy solutions to all of the challenges. If they weren't obvious ( or at least figure-out-able) that again is on me.

The loot goal on Expert was 4000 (out of 7686), so I must disagree with you there. At the end of the mission, you could still access every part of the map, ( so I felt) it was easy to reach the loot goal.
In closing, I want to say that I truly appreciate your comments and observations. I will try to incorporate them into my future missions. And I do not disagree with your observations, your conclusions (perhaps), but your observations are valid, and I will try to do better next time.

Balboa, I didn't have any trouble at the starting part with the "don't f-around with the guests" stipulation. If the fix is fairly easy, then go for it and relaease a v1.2, but I was OK with 1.0. v1.1 was better.
I would much rather see you using your good DromEd skills to craft another FM, than to fix every little bug in this one.
Again. thanks for making this FM. I really admire your guts to work with DromEd. and produce something fun. :thumb:
