I just logged in to TTLG for the first time in what has to be probably 12 or so years. I always come back to Thief, recently started trying The Dark Mod, and just completed Lady Rowena's final mission (Home Sweet Home). After finding all my old FM sites, I saw yours at the top of the list in The Keep of Metal and Gold. Loved the name and downloaded it. I'm about 3 minutes in and am loving it- maybe I'll leave a review when I'm done. I'm so happy this community just keeps going, I always feel welcome and hope it continues for a very long time. Congrats on the release!!

Finished on Expert with 3406 loot. I am among those who did not figure out what that button behind the rock did (although I did find the frog TV room, I did not make the connection--in fact I swear I tried reloading to a time before I had pressed the button and the passage was still open, but maybe I got confused), but I thought that was a cool button placement regardless. I had a good time with this one. There are lots of opportunities to carve your own path through the level, and it's not too difficult, which made me think it would be fun to "speed-ghost" it, which I've never tried before.

Really well-made level. I like the story and characters alot, and the mystery that sort of comes full-circle, and the open nature of it really lets you tackle it how you want. Locations were fun and varied and it melded together really well. I'm planning to play it again at some point and get everything. Great job, I hope to see more from you.

Really nice mission overall, and, for a first mission, quite impressive.
Very interesting layout with many interconnections so one is not locked into only one route all the time.
I missed about 700 loot, but really enjoyed playing it.

I've just started playing the FM's (finally after all these years) and what a lot there are!
Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying playing this FM, and really suprised it's the authors first.

had a blast with this one! probably my second favourite of 2022. criticisms: the mansions was a bit ill-defined, with too many equally large empty corridors, and the mission had just a bit too much stuff thrown in (i wouldve cut the hammers and mechanists, and maybe even the crypts—they distracted from the core story of the mission). however, the overarching layout of the mission was excellent, and piecing together the different facets of the interactions of the main characters was a lot of fun (even though i left with quite a few dangling questions). loved it!

Just posting to echo the prior positive reviews- a remarkably cohesive mission with some really well-framed views and layouts- and a surprisingly wholesome-ish plot. I hope we may see more from you!
