been using the walkthru whenever i got stuck, am stuck now, but walkthru does'nt make sense, maybe bad english?
it says to go back to the hallway to the octagonal tower in the crypts, (past that board u have to crouch under), and hit the tile that is under that loose stone(what the heck did that tile do anyways???),then rope arrow down to the lowered sarcophagus.
HUH, wth the dude mean by "lowered"???
(i hit that tile earlier, and i just don't see any sarcophagus that looks like it was lowered from a higher position!!!)
sum1 help plz?
NVM, found it!
he did mean a LOWER one NOT a lowerED one, a lot of difference there!
he SHOULD have said it this way:
"use a rope arrow to get into the large area of the SE wall that has broken outwards with a sarcophagus in it"
i am thankfull that there is a walkthru at all, BUT, it needs better wording!
he tells you that a certain way goes to "xxx" (implying that you should go that way), but then tells you to "continue on" to another area, which is in the opposite direction!
telling us that a certain way leads to "xxx" is extraneous and uneeded info when it is'nt the way we need to go right then, IF a walkthru writer feels compelled to tell us that "way x goes to tomb y" (before we need to go to tomb y),then he should add "but don't go that way just yet, first go..."

Very nice mission overall, but a bit too hard for me - after sweeping every bit I still have 2 or 3 objectives to complete with no patience left :nono:
Yandros on 23/11/2010 at 18:42
Some of the puzzles are a bit tricky, and plenty of missions wouldn't be worth persevering for, but this is one of the best missions ever IMHO, so I encourage you to search this thread or ask for hints or outright spoilers here to keep you moving.

Yandros is right this is one of the best missions ever. You have to finish it. Then play the sequel Broken Triad.:thumb::cheeky:

And I'll add my 'ditto' to those and point you upwards to LarryG's post with a link to a walkthrough.

Thanks for encouragement, but it's just too tricky for it's own good - I've lost my interest. Unfortunately many FMs seem to suffer from that. Not that the original games were'nt tricky at times, but they could afford that, because most people want to see what's next, while in FMs there's no following.
