I know I'm not an important figure here, but I just want to say this is one of the best missions I've ever played. Certainly in my top 5. The storytelling in this mission is top rate, as is the architecture. I actually don't know of any flaws. I'll have to play it again (Which I'm actually looking forward to).

Go back to the bedroom and check the furniture.....

Ha, I found the bonus objective, too. Very nice. Another question:
Is there a way back to the mages' area once you're up in the manor area again? I could go back through the burrick room, but the door to Armion Drake's tomb closed behind me and perhaps I wouldn't be able to get out again?
BTW, let me again add my appreciation for the details of this mission. The guard at the hatch where you go in, the way the painting was hidden, the well-placed secret areas, the unusually interesting puzzles - all excellent work. Now that I'm fumbling around with Dromed myself I realize the amount of work that goes into a good mission....
I'm also getting the impression that manor missions give themselves well to storytelling. Probably because you have a nice sense of place. The missions with the best stories (IMO of course) are almost all manor missions.

Ieldra,
If you're done with the mages area, I don't see any reason why you need to go back down there. Have you tried going through the sewers again into the burrick arena?
got it thanks!!!
now who do I need to kill:
ghost-kaddar or kadder in flesh near the altar... I've been hitting on the one in the flesh for about 10 minutes now and still he does not die...
Edit: Ok, I see that the dresser is supposed to move, (I can see a small space behind it) wheres the switch? I examined all the furniture very carefully.

@Sarik: you can't backtrack through the sewers because Armion Drake's tomb is closed up and can't be opened from this side.
@Master Garrett:
I had the same problems. Look a page or so upthread. Or rather, go into the chapel and look up.
@DidThatShadowMove:
In the small tower room (where you found the Key), look for a switch. Frob it, then go down the ladder again.
Ok, I finally got in, saw the ghost, got the gem, got hurt a little from sunny spark's fire shield. What do I do with the gems now?

Uh oh... I'm not looking for any hints, mind you. I'm having way too much fun figuring this one out on my own - all hail the excellent hints! But - regarding your comment above - I only use the Quick Save - nothing else. Thus the only choice for me is to start over when I'm actually rather deep into the mission. Before I panic, let me ask for clarification:
In the room with the family coffins, at the far wall, there is a round "face" behind which is a switch which I did accidentally frob. The face opened, and I explored the inside a bit, but decided to go back later. Eshaktaar, if I just close the face back up, can I continue or do I need to start over? :erm:
Thanks for a lovely time!
Cheers,
-M
