Yeah, I reloaded back to before I entered that room because I couldn't use the talisman the way I'd done it previously. Didn't count on people jumping back when the door started to shut, eh?

I wanted to take a break and say that this mission is really a great effort by Eshaaktar and I look forward to more from him/her.
I wanted to note that I found it easier to pick up where I left off after a good nights sleep. I can now look back and kick myself (two things come to mind) about several areas where I really was confused.
1.
the eight switches - my diagram was too small and I missed the point. DOH!
2.
Corridor to the Study - I left the first rock there and picked up KO'd hammers for the pillars so I forgot completely that I had a dead hammer in my midst - double DOH!
I also kept notes which helps - but when your so tired and not thinking straight, well they just don't make sense, hence the break.... everything looks better in the morning.
Oh and btw I also made my hubby come and walk into a certain
barred room
because of the noise I heard - while I was standing behind him with my hands over my eyes (peeking of course! ). I think I was freaking out by then - there were some scary moments! All in all - good fun!

One thing that might be a bug is how when Kadar was trying to bring Elizabeth back, she was floating half way off the alter... it looked kind of odd...

Top shelf mission. Challenging without being irritating, though I never did completely figure out the Riddler's Tomb part. Anyway, has anybody tried...
...playing the organ after off-ing Kadar?
Seemed an obvious little notion to me :)

Very, Very cool mission here! One of my new favorites, it completely scared the shite out of me, especially that
Boarded up room *shiver*
Anyway, sorry if I'm the 9,000th person to mention this, but how many people besides me saw all of the similarities between this FM and Rowena's Curse? Not saying the author ripped off that mission, (as, judging by the quality of this FM, it has obviously been in development long before RC was released), it's just a very wierd coincidence. In the spoiler below is a list of all the similarities I found-
1. Both feature a holy sword in them which is eventually required to kill the last boss

2. Both start with Garrett falling over a wall and losing half his equipment.

3. Both have storylines that start off as a simple mansion raid and eventually delve deeper and deeper into the occult.

4. Both feature a mansion with ancient, evil ruins below them

5. Both of them have a protagonist that leaves you taunting notes throughtout the FM (although Lady Rowena's notes are more frequent)

6. Both end with a some chick on an alter ready to be sacrificed (although the one in Ominous Bequest is already dead...)

7. Both were great and scared the crap out of me

8. And finally, to top it all off, BOTH HAD A TWO WORD TITLE!!!:wot:
I think the truth is obvious...Lady Rowena and Eshaktaar ARE THE SAME PERSON! Yes..the truth is out there. Some might think I'm reading too deeply into this and have an overactive imagination, but hey, ya never know :thumb:.

Hell give em a call them anyway, both have an insaine amount of talent.

Seemed an obvious little notion to me :) I did, though i wasn't expecting the message, it was great to see the author had thought of little details like that. :thumb:

I've just finished it :D. This has to be the best & scariest FM I've played yet :thumb:. I liked the
way you had to guess the combination to the vault, and all the other puzzles for that matter, to which you were given just enough clues to solve.
Thanks for a real kick ass FM Eshaktaar . The only critical hint I had to get off the forums was the one for the elevator . With the multitude of puzzles / riddles one tends to take hints on the literal side after a while . There's lots of replay value in this one , I'll probably play this one again after finishing a couple other FMs .
