Just wanted to say thanks. Your hint was just what I needed to get back on track. Although I'll have to go back and look for the rest of the loot sometime. I'm missing more than 700. If anyone has some general hints on loot locations that would be pretty cool. I'm also missing one of the secrets.

Sonny thanks for your help. I am now in the vault
but I can't work out the inner vault switches. I know it's meant to resemble the painting but how? I have tried pushing the switched in the order of the painting top to bottom and left to right but no joy - help!!!
If you want an explicit hint, scroll back several pages and you'll find where Eshaktaar posted a link to an image which
superimposes the painting over the switches.
Otherwise, you should try to
make the red knobs on the switches form exactly the same alignment as the stars in the painting.

i have gone all the way back through the mages area...the tunnels etc...and am in the crypt full of water that fell in when i escaped the burrick pen....but i dont now how to get back up that hole i fell down through! there must be a way that i am overlooking....cant you please get me back to those lovely burricks that is escaped from before with no health hits....only to go back and have to fight them again!!!!
i dont remember being able to get out of there any other way than i did...so did not see an open door?

nil8hate,
You probably went back the wrong way (through Armion Drake's tomb). You have to go through the sewers (hatch in Robert Farrington's "tomb"), the same way you went the first time when you tried to go to the exit.
This has been a tough one and I needed outside help for the
two vault doors. I think that was the problem. I didn't suspect a second door and that confused me when reading the clues in the thread. I thought the clue applied to the big round door so of course the painting clue wouldn't work. I didn't know there were two doors.
I have the sword and killed the mage, found the sewers and square tomb area to jump down into. There is a tomb in the middle with spikes and I lose health. There are also two passages on the walls here but out of reach.
I passed a skeleton with a message and a dead burrick. Found what looked like a
stone wall panel at the end. I searched for a lever or something but couldn't find any. I also went through the hallway with boulders and a grate at the end. Weighted down the two pedestals and opened it. I threw dead flesh at the door and it started to react but killed me.
I have not figured out where these burricks are or what to do in that tomb or pit with a fire arrow down one hall and a water arrow down another. I am playing on hard and only need the talisman to finish but would like to find this burrick area. I did locate the exit and found where to turn on the holy water. Also is there a purpose for the sister stones or is just to complete the objective?.
Right now I feel like I'm spinning in circles with so many dead ends and so much to remember. I have been pooring over this thread for help but it's getting so long I can't remember what I read where. Please straighten me out and put me back on track. Thanks so much!!!  :cheeky:

Hawklette,
The dead Burrick you encountered is in an area that the player isn't supposed to see at that stage. I fixed that in Version 2, but don't worry, you haven't broken the mission in any way, so you can just continue.
The offer of dead flesh (a.k.a. Brother Sorven) needs to be dropped on the floor plaque in front of the door. Behind it you'll find the talisman.
Try to forget you read anything about burricks. There aren't any. None whatsoever. Just go to the exit when you've completed all objectives ;)
Thanks Eshaktaar. That helps a lot. I was rewriting my questions while you were answering me. I did add a little. The dead flesh I used was
the Haunt head that was on the attic panel stick in the vault. It came to life and turned on me when I hit it with the sword. Is that the first time it happened to anyone?
I want to thank you for a great mission even though what was left of my brain feels dead and will take a while to recover. I don't know how anyone can think of so many twists and turns to a plot then throw in puzzles. My head hurts! LOL!! GREAT JOB and thanks for all your time and effort.
