Only problem I had was
When I went down to change the holy water, I then continued down the sewer and finished a great deal of the game, so that when I was ready to get the sword, I had to go back into the main floor of the chapel and stand in front of all the haunts to get the holy water. This would be my only complaint, I wish I had known that I needed to go back out of the sewers and get the holy arrows first before continuing on in the sewers. Luckily I never use flash bombs on humans, so I had enough to take them out.
I've just finished this mission on Expert.
Time: 3:03:46
Loot: 7330
Secrets: 8 of 8
My English isn't good, so I will be brief:
Great mission, Eshaktaar! Certainly one of the best. Thank you for three hours of wonderful gameplay! :thumb:
Now I only need complete loot list.

I am replaying this again, I lost my sponge, and used the holy water on the haunt when I got the talisman.
First off, everytime, I would play that organ, and go into the crypt, I got the chills!!!! I loved it!! :ebil: I must of done that a dozen times, each time, samething, I got the chills, the hair on my arms would raise, every.......freakin......time. It was awesome. Rare that an FM does that to me anymore.
OK, since I didn't have an holy water, and I lost the sponge, I went and checked out the sword. Was messing around. (I know what I have to do to get the sword, I was playing)
What I did next, was bizarre. I threw the skull by the sword, and it came to life, it started floating in mid air. Making that god awful haunt laugh. I then shot a fire arrow at it. Well, it got pissed at me, and started spewing at me, it's whatever came out of its mouth. I couldn't tell what it was, it flew by me so fast, hammers? It was still floating. I shot another fire arrow at it. It moved higher up, and shot some more at me, and then I died.
Uuuhhh, what happened there? Hah. That's what I get for messing around.

The haunt head attacks when you throw it, its an enemy of everything. So, throw it at some guards or haunts or hammers or whatever and it will kill them.
Also, 2 broadhead arrows will bring it down at full health. So if you accidently throw it or its work is done, destroy it with 2 broadheads unless you want it to kill you.

A little trick to take care of the haunts in the church. From the cript side lure the haunts to the sparkling barrier and shoot some fire arrows into the four of them and watch them fall. :laff:

i found a pretty cool bug in the mission (at least on my voodoo 3, i'd assume it works with any video card and is a bug with the game).... If you wield the Xedormicost sword, it lights up the immediate area... but then if you change to the blackjack replacement, the area stays lit up.. you can then put the skillet away and the area will continue to stay lit up until you wield the xedormicost again. cool. :)

Theres a bug with that in The Inverted Manse's Saint Edward sword. Its a thief bug, nothing can be done about it.
Huckeye on 22/8/2003 at 11:50
For some reason I never thought about that being a bug in inverted manse. I just got used to running around the corner from where I wanted to hide to put the sword away, because the glow stayed where I put the sword away at.
