Looks like Robert's father Edward had some dark secrets. Try to find all parts of his diary.
One part is sticking out from under the statue in the hall with the paintings, above the crypts. Two are in the two different attic areas which you must have the special stick to get to (one is partly under a chest). The fourth is up a ladder in a secret area west of the library. Can't currently remember where the fifth one was.
Enthusiasm Energized!
I have played one of the best Fan Missions, In my view is one perfect dosage of the bests gameplay atmospheres, intelligent machinations and strange eclectic architectures.
Thank You Eshaktaar for this rare pearl.

Thanks Eshaktaar - this is a tough mission but must rate as one of the best out there.:thumb:
so i have raised the bad guy mage from the dead, and have escaped back through the craymen area to the family crypts. I need holy water for the sponge to get the magic sword, right? The fonts in the chapel are blocked by the bad guy party at the alter. Is there another location to find holy water, or am i screwed?
thanks

Neat mission Eshaktaar! Da boys got style!

Welcome to the forum, Obex! :)
I don't think you're stuck. You should still be able to get at those fountains, though it may be a bit harder now. Did you
find the room where you switch the fountains back to holy water from ordinary water? It's down in the sewers that you access from Lord Robert Farrington's tomb. Once you've done that, continue through the sewers and up the ladder to find a way back into the house. You can get back to the church via the elevators and then should be able to get up to the front.
I just finished this excellent mission. Challenging puzzles and a rich plot with more than a few twists. This is not for the player who wants instant gratification but a very fine mission of the seasoned thief.
Well done, Eshaktaar!

OUT*FRIGGIN*STANDING mission!!!!:thumb:
I got the (BONUS) objective also.
It seemed the proper thing to do. :cheeky:

:thumb: ditto to what tanker said.:thumb: This one is a ten!!
Granted I am a stupid taffer so here's my spoiler!
If you're still stuck looking for that #$%# rod to open the attic space, you need to open the vault first. This is done by shooting fire and water arrows at the icons going down to the chapel. I shot a water arrow at the baby image(sapling) and a fire arrow at the death symbol(light the way for one who has left) on both sides to get the floor panel to flip up right in front of the statue. Down the ladder is the vault with the rod. The combination for the vault is the default 1234(last 4 of the serial number) due to the all the earthquakes. (You did read some of the notes didn't you?) For the spoiler hungry taffers out (like me) there that should get you back on the right track. I hope this doesn't get too many taffers angry at me, but the spoilers in front of this one seemed to talk around this too much for my tastes. I tend to be blunt as a spoon - sorry..
This really is a great mission. My advice - do what Melissa did - write notes.

Well Eshaktaar, enough is enough.
After reading 11 pages of this forum post I still don't get some things.:eww:
First is first: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: on this mission! I don't need to say anymore, don't I?! All has been said. I'll just add a bit too it .....:thumb:
I can't get into the vault. I know I've to "read" the painting, which is in my possession. I even saw your "hintpicture" on the forum, but I hust don't get it. Perhaps the language of the forumposts sometimes is in my disadvantage.
So I'll just ask:
How do I open the vault?! and what's about a face on the wall in the family tomb? Where is the familytomb ........... there are so many? How do I get to the tombs in the wall in the Riddlers Tomb? Is the face in the wall there "the" face on the wall everybody refers to? What am I supposed to do with it?
The original name of the game is in german. Are you German? Perhaps you can give me a hint in german. I'm good in that language. Vielleicht verstehe Ich die Anweisungen besser.
Greetings from Gloria Creep
