Thanks, Eshaktaar. Installing another FM and then reinstalling OB did the trick. I guess I must have updated DarkLoader to 4.1 after the initial installation of Ominous Bequest. Doh!

at page 23 or so of this thread i'm sure no one will read my post, i've been playing this mission for about 2 hours. the architecture is great, but the key hunts, vague clues, and riddles are getting on my nerves. where's the sword? where's the attic key? how does the painting relate to the switches? pointless key hunts like these make me not want to play a mission. give me straight forward clues over this junk any day.
i liked the design of things, the new textures were nice, i finished the mission in about 2.5 hours, 6935 in loot, 4/8 secrets. just wish that everything didn't have to be a complicated riddle. and i was expecting more out of the fight with kadar, reminded me of when i killed the trickster the first time, hanging on the ceiling watching him die.

I am at Riddler's Tomb and have
examined all pillars in minute detail but can't find anything - can't even hear any sounding different.
I've searched the threads and read too much so decided to post. Any help gratefully received!!!! I clicked on spoiler cover but can't tell if it worked in preview
It doesn't seem to have so I'm sorry for spoiling.
For got to say (hangs head in shame) this is a truly wonderful fm.

I put the spoiler cover in for you Nickie. :)
In the tomb you need to
check the pillars on the back down near the floor. Even if you can't hear the sound for some reason, you should still be able to see the lever. It's the pillar in the NW corner of the room.
Nickie
the "music" is loudest when you are near the one with the switch
Freddy
Sorry Nightwalker - you're too quick for me!

Thank you guys - thought you'd disappeared forever Nightwalker
For spoiler cover I clicked on spoiler typed and clicked again - what am I doing wrong? Am I supposed to type the spoiler bit where it says 'Insert masked "spoiler" text into your message'?
Just found it! - I was looking too low down! Now all I have to do is find out what it does. OK so I am a very stupid taffer but I cannot see what the lever does. I have been back over some other bits that I missed but keep coming back to being stuck at the top of the tomb and its an hour and a bit later!

Freddy thank you. In the meantime I just found the burrick arena, can't believe I missed it!

nickie, when you click on the "Spoiler" button, a small box pops up in the upper right corner. Type the text you want hidden into it and then click the "OK" button on the bottom of that box. The text will appear in your message with the blue cover over it. You can also type {SPOILER} then put the words you want hidden here
and it will be covered. You have to use the square brackets around the first spoiler word too but I used the other ones so it would be visible to you. :)
I was only gone for a week, honest! I won't disappear anytime in the near future, I can promise. :)

hi all... great mission.
I am stuck, and I dont think I should be... In the Riddler'd Tomb,
I have flipped the switch on the musical column, and seen the trap door open... I have investigated the small passage and the drop down onto the burnt-out fire where the fire arrow is... I just dont see how this is useful though. I was able to get into the treasure stash using the invisible walkway (which is cool) but after I get my loot I cannot figure out how to get back topside.
I am sure I am missing something very basic... please help.
