What do I do with the "Holy Sponge"?
Bah, I thought that holy sponge would have an effect on the haunt..

shadows,
You're right about your assumption. About the eight switches: Take a look at a painting you've got in your inventory.
Jocke,
The secret door in the corridor to the family tomb can be opened by a well-hidden switch nearby. It's one of the mission's 8 secrets but not vital for your progress otherwise.
To the other questions I won't answer for now... just continue playing the mission until you've finished.
Sarik,
Although you've solved the eight-switches puzzle by trying, you can look up the combination with the painting. The positions of the stars correspond to the red switch heads. I could post an image showing how the painting on top of the switches matches their positions, but unfortunately I can't put that in spoiler tags ;)
DidThatShadowMove?.
About the Holy Sponge: Read the book "Legendary Artifacts Part 1". That should point you into the right direction.
Otherwise it has a small effect on undead when you throw it at them. Furthermore, you can douse torches with it.

Wheres this death statue and what do I do with the glass windows?
Would you mind putting comments containing spoilers inside spoiler tags so they are covered in blue? Otherwise people might accidentally read about clues they don't want to know, yet. Thank you :)
The death statue is the one near the elevators that lead down to the church.
The sword is in the crypt, in a hidden area mentioned in Brother Sorven's last note (the dead Hammerite lying on the crypt floor).

In the family crypt, the little half-bowl mounted on the wall in the place with 5 coffins, what does it want? I tried to hit it with a fire arrow and the fire arrow just went away in a puff of smoke, what do I have to put in it?
Also: I read Sorven's note and it said something about a switch, where is it? It said near body reliefs, I'm guessing it means the red pictures of rotted bodies? No switches there...
OK i've completed the 7 normal objectives and can leave the mission or so Garrett tells me. There are 2 optional objectives as well. Can anyone tell me whereabouts is part 4 of the diary? Eshaktaar is there a difference? i've played normal difficulty, but i still have yet to enter those double doors in the Hammer Church, yet the mission says i can leave? Also i've managed to get onto the invisible barrier in the Tomb of the Riddler, but i can't get out of the tomb i can't jump high enough to mantle out. The Hunting Dragon picture had me confused for a minute before i realised the switches correlated to it sideways. What's up with that Hammer skull i decided to throw it on the floor to see what happens and it shots at me! The Ancient Tome doesn't seem to have much info in it. I didn't find the Holy Sponge much use against the haunt, i had to keep picking it back up and got killed. But it's a nice touch
This is one excellent mission!!!

DidThatShadowMove?,
For now, you can't do anything with the waterless well in the family crypt. The fact that the fire arrow went right through it is a bug :o
About the death statue:
Small hint:
The plaque at the death statue indirectly tells you what to do with the glass windows.
Bigger hint:
Think of the seedling as a baby, and the "one who left this world" as death.
Solution:
Shoot a water arrow at the baby and a fire arrow at the death window. Then go back to the statue.
What about the Sorven's notes body reliefs?
Excellent mission, although a bit hard...
Also: Where are these stars that are the
code to the vault
shadows,
Normal difficulty only has fewer guards, more equipment, and a couple of shortcuts to some of the puzzles.
Have you found the sword, yet? And did you manage to get it "unstuck"? In higher difficulties you need the holy sponge for that, in normal you have a vial of holy water.
Part 4 of the diary is in the secret area behind the locker room where Benny is standing around. Close the open footlocker to see it.
There is another way out of the Riddler's Tomb, the way you got in... if you didn't jump down from the top directly, that is: Go to the corridor dead end with the burnt wood on the floor (where you found a fire arrow) and look up: There is a thin wooden plank in the ceiling you can rope arrow up... this is the way you'd normally get down to the tomb.
The skull has no purpose, except for causing some mayhem when thrown at a crew of guards ;)
You know where you've got to go to end the mission, right? Don't worry if you haven't found all secrets or even all the loot... just go to the exit ;)
DidThatShadowMove?,
You're right about the rotten bodies. One of them is facing the other way than all others. Rope arrow up to it and inspect the wall stones nearby.
The stars the clue is referring to are the ones seen on the painting you've got with you. You have to set the switches according to the stars' positions.
I have 5 health. This is a problem, because I can't
Kill Kader(sp?)
