My goodness, what a long thread!

Kudos! The best Fan Mission ever. I can't get over how great it was. AND I never even found all the secrets -- crazy to think there's MORE I could've found.
Benny hoarding doughnuts was fantastic. Setup, punchline, hilarious.
I KNEW from the creepy rope sound that I was going to see the wife hanging there, but then she wasn't there, but THEN SHE WAS! Oh man. So wonderfully scary.
The pole to open the attic doors -- great. The invisible bridge in the Riddler's tomb -- great. The Holy Sponge -- hilarious.
I liked how at the end your objective is "Nobody uses you as a pawn." What? EVERYbody uses Garrett as a pawn. His full name is Garrett McPawn Gullible De Sucker.
The way the mission kept looping back geographically was stunning. And the way it had a half-dozen false endings -- so great. Craymen, Hammers, Undead & Ghosts -- even BURRICKS.... all tied together in a great story.

I just finished the mission. Very groovy.
But I'm curious if anyone else found this ... uhhh... little message from the creator I guess.
At te end, after you
hack and the book and watch the guy explode
play the organ, a little message comes up. I thought it was funny.. Anyway.. just wondering if anyone else found that.

I found that and loved it.
I actually did it during the beta before the message had been added and I loved the dramatic feeling it gave when you were heading back downstairs. :)
First of all, great FM, I'm really enjoying this one, but I have some problems.
Number one, how do I get to the burrick arena?
Number two, in the sewers I found a sewer door that takes me to a portcullis, but I can't get it open.
Number three, assuming sunspark is yellow, I think i've found it, but touching it hurts me.
Number four, where is part 3 of the diary?
With a saucerful of secrets....:erm: :o

I'll try and help, but I don't have nearly the FM prowess that our dear Moderator possesses...
#2
I think that one opens later...but not sure.
#3
You'll need something to cool it off first...what cools fire well?
Now I've got to go try the ending again. (I've got to quit coming back into this thread, it's anti-productive!! ;))
The burrick area and the area behind that portculis are accessed later. And don't worry if it feels like you have finished everything and you still haven't found the burrick area - this mission is like the energizer bunny - it keeps going and going :)
SunSpark is the yellow gem you found. It is a little too hot to handle. Maybe it needs a nice refreshing shower?
I believe the third diary page is in the attic partially under one of the couches. It was hard to see. Although I might be thinking of the wrong page . . .
Happy taffing!:thumb:

I'm stuck!!!!! and don't want to read through too much of this thread cos you normally spoil the rest of the mission trying to solve yer problem.
I have the sword, the ice gem, have opened the vault (but not the inner door in the vault), have ransacked the church.
Problems, can't access the attic, the double doors in the church on the right, the safe in the library, the door to the balcony?, the locked door with the dodgy torch outside. I think that's about it.
Can anyone tell me what to do next?

Origami thief:
Next step could be:
the inner door in the vault
If you're unable to proceed there:
Have you read a papyrus about "the eight switches"?
If not:
The papyrus tells you that if you're unable to proceed when presented with eigth switches, look to the stars for help.
If so:
something else has stars on it, and will help you open the inner door
It is:
an item you're supposed to steal (check the Lords last will and testament)
Last resort:
It is the painting. Map the stars to switch positions.
