Read the letter in the library safe. You can't find the safe key until you have been into the vault.
Just finished it. I really liked the way the story fit together. If you still read these, did you block out the whole story ahead of time, or work on it while you were making the mission?
Also:
I loved the bonus objective. I find myself doing things like that alot when the characters are compelling enough. And the "flare for the dramatic" message cracked me up.
In general, thanks for making this. Perhaps you should teach a class?

At first, I just had the idea about Garrett stealing items listed on a testament. The story sort of took a life of its own while I was making the mission and adding more areas to it. Some of the main plot elements occured to me at the most unlikely times, usually when I was supposed to do something else, like sleeping ;) It's easier for me to make an interesting story when I don't know the ending in advance. I guess I can't just sit down and make up something like this in one batch, it needs time (i.e. ten months).

Simply the best fan mission I've ever played. Chills, thrills, quick moving, well designed map, uniqueand creative ideas. Nice "psyche....you're not done yet"; the whole shabang, wonderful.
I must say, I enjoyed this one more then the original! :thumb:
Great work!!

i just got thru replaying OB :)
and after earning "noble" status and reading a post about laying farrignton to rest: here's what i did with a few victims of Kadar's scheme
* i laid Robert Farrington to rest and put his note (from the burrick pen) in there with himb4 closing the lid
**i put all the haunts and even the deathwatch guard in the barracks of the church
** i dragged Sorven from the pits of the crypt (thanks to a few rope arrows) and put him in his bed and placed his last note by him
to address the inventory issue, here's what i did (and this is how nit picky i am)
* i placed the sponge now a holy sponge in the bowl on the wall in the family area of the crypts
* i placed a couple keys in the library safe and locked it, placed the vault book and library safe key on the desk in the library
I placed the gardeners note back on the table by where you got the sponge
*I placed Kadar's diary and the scroll from his study on one table in the vault, on the other i placed the 2 artifact books and the note about the "look to the stars and you will find the rest of me"
*the other keys i put on the table by Tubb's note (where the guard was standing in front of the fire place*
I put Jeffrey's note on the pedestal where i got the horn (wouldve put it back in the study or maybe even the bedroom i got it from but i didnt feel like going back up the stairs :joke:

You'll give Jeffrey and the police quite a riddle to solve next day if you leave the place like this :D

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but there's 26 pages to search through...I'm in the
Tomb of the Riddler, and I've shot the blue torch with the water arrow, and I've shot the tear with a fire arrow. A statue retracted to reveal a passage, but when I try to jump into the passage it's like it's still a wall.
What am I missing?
Eshaktaar on 17/11/2003 at 00:24
This can be a bit tricky: You can jump at the passage and mantle inside if you keep the jump key pressed.
Thank you very much. I thought I was missing some part of the riddle, but it was just the controls, huh? :)
