However the corpse sunk into the ground so that it was gone, and it was no more frobable because no more visible.
Then I experimented and found out that all the ground here is somewhat strange - it doesn't hold objects. Also when I drop a key here it is lost.
Strange thing.
Is there anything special on this floor? Does DromEd offer an ability to make a floor transparent against objects?
That's an Engine bug. If things disappear at that place, they're still retrievable: Under the pedestal there's a small hole. If something falls through the pedestal, it lands inside this hole (even AIs can fit in there - something to do with their physical representation). You can still get these things out by crouching at the pedestal's base and just frobbing blindly.

A question: How did you create the haunt-sound in the room where no haunt is?
This is an ambient sound which was used in the cemetery in Eavesdropping (Lauschangriff).

Hey all. Ok I'm trying to beat this mission but I'm stuck at the part with the 8 switches beyond the vault door. I have the riddle regarding the 8 switches and the hunting dragon painting but I can't seem to figure it out. Also in the crypt room with the 5 sarcophogi there's a an empty bowl and above that there's a closed passage I'm trying to open. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

I always had trouble with it myself. But, I had a trick to get the switches set up right.
There are 3 clusters of switches -- one on the left, one in the middle, one on the right. In each cluster, the little handles on the switches will either be as close to each other as they can be, or as far apart as they can be, hopefully that made sense. :erm: The middle cluster had to have the handles as close together as possible, I don't remember about the others.Quote:

From memory,
you reached that room from a ramp, correct? Go back up the ramp, and go straight until you see a locked (but pickable) metal door on your right. :)Hopefully this is of some help, I haven't played the mission in months, but I was quite obsessed with it back in the day.
How do I get into the Riddler pit without getting killed?
The first line of the poem is "Progress comes to those who listen." Ponder that for a while and you'll probably figure it out. Otherwise, read spoilers as follows:
Crouch down and listen at each pillar around the edge of the pit. At one pillar you will hear a musical sound. Examine that pillar closely for a hidden switch that will open a trap door for you to get down.
Finished. Fun thing to do at the end...
WARNING: Lots of spoilers about the end.
Fire the rope arrows into the beams from the ground floor of the church. It's so high, you can't see the arrows impact, but you can hear when they miss and hit stone. Then you run up there (usually with hammer haunts on your tail), cue the organ and try to leap over the rail to grab the rope, climb up and hopefully make the jump to the ring. I wished I had slow fall potion to glide down from the top while what's his name came to center blow up.
To the authors - Spectacular mission!!!

Oh, but you can get down there no problem, without a single hitpoint of damage. Haven't you ever heard of the bug where if you land on an AI, you take no damage? He stands still, so if you time it right, you can slash the book, drop down, land on him, then be killed by him exploding. I've done it before, t'was great fun. :ebil:
