For those of you who would like a complete walkthrough of this mission, Freddy Fox did a very good one back in 2003. See (

He even found all the loot. Something I did not manage to do in my ghosting of the mission.
Thiefmissions is an excellent resource for Fan Missions and walkthroughs. Unfortunately it is no longer being updated, but for what it has, it is a site that you should know about.

I can't find answers to a few questions, can someone please answer them :-)
1. How do I open the other door (not crypt door) in the church?
2. How do I open the the secret door behind the poster in the mages room? (I've opened the banner just not the door)
3. How do I open the secret door at the top of the stairs in the family crypt?
4. Where is the riddler's tomb?
5. Where is the secret place near the sitting room?
6. Where's the sword that i need to use the holy sponge on?
7. I've turned the water on in the sewers but the fountains aren't working in the church, why?
8. How do I get to the balcony? Is the door for the blacony the locked door near the library?
Me thinks thats it, I hope someone can help

9. Is it just me or is there a secret door in the library?
ok make it two more lol
10. Other than where I have mentioned, is there another secret as I think there should be at least one more if not more if some of the one's i've mentioned are not secrets?

11. Whats with the dry well in the family grave, am I meant to be able to do something with it?

Almost all of your questions will be answered if you figure out how to get to where the sword is - doing so will open up the rest of the mission for you. You're barely halfway through the mission! :eek: :D
For the sword, a hint:
Carefully examine the dead guys on the walls in the hallway behind the barred door, just above the room with the tilted pillar you can jump onto, with the dead Hammer at the bottom.
Hint2:
You may need to get a closer look higher up on the wall than you can reach from the ground.
Giveaway:
Rope up next to the guy who's facing the opposite direction from the others (as was hinted at in a written clue).

Ah ok, I found the switch ages ago and thought it was a switch to turn off the traps down the hallway to the mages room

Ok i got it i went backwards through everything I could I found the last secret i was after in the library past the buricks and I also found the switches for the other secrets that I was missing.
So I'm very happy with all secrets found and 7865 loot :D

:( I have tried to open door by trying to mirror dragon painting even asked my husband and daughter to look at it with me after no success. looked at 27/1/08 clues many many pages to look at and yandros & others say click on link ... but it doesnt connect.
I know it is years old and not sure if there is another way. I have been trying this puzzle for the past hour and a half. really tried and getting cheesed off.
Need help as i want to continue.:tsktsk:
