Having looked at the fullscreen screenshots, I must say that, for an old game engine, T2 still looks good. Comments about Thief's crappy lighting, limited texture palette, and archaic AI don't impress me.
It's all about atmosphere, baby. The Havok and Unreal engines may have a lot of bells and whistles, but they aint got Attitude.

Is this mission for Thief: Gold? Or is it labelled 'Gold' since it is of better quality than the original? I hope it's the latter since I don't own Thief: Gold.

Thank you for the help.:)
After I posted I went back to look around again ................
and I'm very :o to say I found that switch in the " off "
position !!!! After playing for more than 3 hours, I find I
sometimes mix up the facts. ( should take notes )
......time for a reality check !!
Thanks again :D

Even though I've played this before, had to run through again. Did something new this time, since the entrance to the church was blocked by the magic shield. It was fun to lure the haunts to the blockade, they couldn't get me, and yet, I could kill them with a few fire arrows. Made the church a bit less full if you will. :sly: I'm sure someone has done that before, just never read as such.

That's fun but a waste of time. I typically place a rope arrow the first time I get to the church, and then later in the endgame I try to ghost my way to it, which I managed to do this time around. But if I do alert any haunts, I just run for it like hell. :D

I know I've played this mission before, but probably not on expert as now.
LOL - I don't remember the attic door pole. I got up there by beating the bejaysus out of the hatch with my sword atop some crates!
The skull thing must be new too. I had an extra hours fun with the gazebo guards before deciding to save the skull for the Hammers in the church.
I really liked three things you hardly ever see - a guard who checks on an open door "that's not supposed to be open," enters the room, and closes the door. The other was Benny turning the light back on no matter how many times I turned it off, and also the guard who does the same with the sprinkler!

Not a waste of time, when it adds more replayability, which it did for me. Just another way of getting the job done. :-)
