Need help please:D
I've done the 5 switches mentioned in the scroll , but the " bottles "
secret door doesn't open .
Do they have to be done in a certain order , or is there another
button to push ??
I had footsteps , and doors opening and closing , in the upstairs
hall too ( I believe that was Maria ). Also, saw a male ghost in
the loft . Neither of them tried to hurt me though .;)
Thanks.....:)
There is no order, as far was I could work out.
Just running through them to make sure you got the correct ones -
1. The hidden switch behind the banner in the foyer
2. The lever in the loft - only accessible by roping up to a beam
3. The lever next to the bookcase, under the chair in the sitting room
4. The lever above the larder - you need to rope up to it because it's kinda over the door
5. The lever in the gear room with all the shelves - again you need to rope up and it's on the top shelf.
Cardia1...my hat off to you for making a mission. i for one have not even figured out how to open dromed! gotta tell you though, this one could really use some fixing. i am not one to quit an fm very easily, but i got pretty frustrated with the length of time it took to unlock stuff. also, i have started over 2 times and cannot get the
secret door in bottle room to open

i have hit all 5 switches now about 4 times times and it still does not work. anyway, look forward to a new and improved version?

I need to locate the scroll that mentions the locations of those switches.
And a key to the last locked door, that also eludes me.
I found that thief that needed a lesson; put 5 arrows into him before he finally understood the message. But 3 of those arrows just floated in mid air after the thief was dead on the ground.
Also I'm missing 400 in loot which is very normal in my case.:nono:

Well what do you know.
I went out for a cup of Earl Grey, went back to the mansion to roam a little more. Decided to turn on all the lights in all the rooms only to discover that on top of the bookcase lo and behold was the key I was missing. :erg:
So that took care of both the key problem and the scroll problem I had. But didn't do much for my loot search. In my purse I have now 2070 and for this mission I want to find it all.
Anyone?

A friend of mine who played got some of the switches mixed up - because the same switches are also used for some lights.
The tricky ones are the loft and the larder.
Thank you CatAnita...i had seen that some of the
switches were the same for lights...i got the one in the larder that you have to rope up to and the one in the loft that you have to rope up to...unless there are light switches that you have to rope to, i think i have them right...but still the door does not open.
this was fairly frustrating as i spent way too much time unlocking stuff! i have a thing about really long locks! and there were way too many in the little short amount of time i was playing. anyhooooo, unless there is some kind of clue i have not figured out, i have ended trying on this one.:tsktsk:

is 'the bottle room' the room with the dead guard? if so it won't open to
and i'm shure i've found all switches
btw with the 'loft room' you mean the one in the attic right? cuz as far as i know a loft is a nice/big/expensive hotelroom :erg:
could be wrong though, we (in dutch) say loft as a nice hotelroom
The bottle room is the room under the staircase (with a few bottles on the floor -- hence the name). The door to the bottle room opens with a key. Inside of the bottle room there is the secret door, which opens when you used all the switches.
