Just keep leaning left, right forward until the arrow lights up. I was able to get them all.

Yup, no objective to kill the lord of the keep. I kept wondering if that would appear, cuz as you get to know him from the notes and books you sure would like to kill him!
I saw the magic stone but haven't gotten an objective to get it. I even read the book that mentioned it. I guess I'll have to figure out how to get up there. I have already activated the other ghost wizards. I ran and hid then killed them off one by one. Not very lytha-esc, but very fun!
Maybe I'll just have to read my objectives more carefully, it may be there now...
Other than that objective to find my thief friend this was a very enjoyable mission. Like the noir style!

I love the atmosphere of this mission but the play design leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. I haven't finished it yet so maybe it gets better, but:
Smashing that skylight was pure button mashing dread, plus trying to frob some of those arrows in the store was nearly impossible. It's hard to tell what the hell to do. The architecture is kind of ridiculous, and there are places you (I think) can get stuck, which is a big no-no. The city is just non-intuitive and frustrating.
Anyway. The style is awesome. If only someone would make a good mission out of it, even with the same plot.

I didn't have any problems getting stuck.
The architecture didn't bother me too much; but I did wonder why the skylight opened into a small attic room, it illuminated nothing. I just rationalized that it was to be opened for ventilation purposes...
I didn't have a blackjack so I didn't have to hit the window that much, I had to find something to throw through it. A box didn't work and it fell to the road and alerted the gaurd, very embarassing. Since I was forced to do this I unabashedly re-loaded and used the ancient hammer in the little church.
I still don't like it when I'm forced to break and enter...I'd rather sneak in...

Well, I found my thief friend:
And he had the note to trigger the magic stone quest, so I had to haul my ass all the way back to pick up the rock and go down the path to accomplish the "find a way down to The City" objective.
The end was anticlimactic, seemed kind of pointless, unless there is a follow up mission, but I couldn't find one. Still couldn't figure out why any player would decide to start smashing those booths. There was nothing noteworthy to call your attention to them and I don't recall any clues leading there.
Still I don't want to be harsh - I did enjoy the rest of the mission. Nice creepiness ala "Night of the Living Dead" (without the zombies). The spider men were scary. Very well done. Thanks for building it Alex.

This mission has been pretty difficult for me from the getgo, but I enjoyed it all the same and kept at it.
I think I'm nearly done with it, my only remaining objective is to break into Lord D's quarters. I have no idea where they are though.
I've explored pretty much the whole castle. There's a locked door or two I think (that I can't lockpick open), and I haven't figured out how to get that scepter in the grassy secret area yet, though I've got the magic rock. I've got the portable ladder, but no idea where to use it, although there's an interesting bug with that thing that lets me fly wherever I want to.
Have I missed something? Any help would be appreciated.

Getting into the Master's private quarters is a little convoluted.
Have you been in the big front foyer? Around behind the stairs, there's a book with a button underneath it. The button activates fields on the upper landing around the stairs that allow you to access a room above. There's a button on the ceiling above the central fountain in this room. That opens the doors in a round hallway that lead to a lava room. That's where you can use the ladder and also where you'll find a way into the private rooms.
To get the Sceptre, look for a pressure plate in the floor opposite the case it's in. Putting a rock on it lifts the cover.
The thing opposite the sceptre is covered by an unfrobbable metal grate. There's a pressure plate a little to the side, but dropping a rock on that one just opens up a secret door leading outside.

I forgot about that bit. I haven't played this in too long, obviously. To open that you need to
drop the boulder on that other plate. The door that opens doesn't really take you outside but to a small glade of sorts. I'm not sure exactly what opens the plate that covers the other pressure plate but I think it's the last switch here. You need to flip a switch that lowers a glass floor. From here, you can mantle up into the right-hand cave opposite and flip another switch which extends another small glass floor. Use this one to get into the left-hand cave. Flip the switch here to lower a floor and you'll see a bunch of platforms, etc. In the middle of the water filled one is a switch that will teleport you back to the room where the scepter is. The cover over the other pressure plate should be open now.
Thanks for the help. Was able to finish the mission at last.
Funny how you don't learn chucking the magic rock at those pagan haunts or whatever they are instantly kills them until the very end... I literally blackjacked the last few to death because I was out of supplies.
