If I recall it correctly, Garrett says his "this is what I'm looking for" sometimes if you try to use something visible among the books in a bookcase. This, however, is not what is indicated on the map you can find in the office. There is a small switch (one, not four!) on top of this bookcase, I believe, and you have to use that switch.
If that is not helpful, or if I
don't remember that correctly, then you should go with fibanocci's advice on TTLG.DE and restart the mission after ensuring that the script files are in the right folders of the game.

What Garrett says if you frob that piece of parchment in the smaller bookcase is "I should be able to find something in here..." but just ignore it.
Here's what works every time for me, you don't need to
read Lord Wilson's note or look at the
diagram on floor by his desk, don't save & restore during it, also let any item in motion completely finish before going to the next, and let any conversations or sound effects finish completely too:
Enter room, Garrett comments and Raven in cage repeats
Frob Raven's cage, Garrett comments and Raven repeats
Frob 4-switch thing on top of large bookcase, red light comes on, Garrett & Raven make comments.
Frob small switch on top of next smaller bookcase.
Frob switch on lamp next to that bookcase.
Frob desk chair.
Frob phone, hard to hear but it rings a couple seconds.
Frob Rubik's cube on desk (pick up or not doesn't matter)
Frob Raven on top of other large bookcase, it shoots orb, take cover by double doors you entered
After traps go off frob Keeper symbol exposed behind painting near Raven in cage, there's the dying ghoul sound then Garrett says "This is just what I was looking for, now I've got a real plan!" and as the Raven repeats his cage bursts open & it flies over to open the bookcases to the back area.Christine commented that the
star pattern above Lord Wilson's bed gives clues to the solution but I couldn't figure it out, just tried some combinations & found this one that works.

The stars are useful for another puzzle, not the one with the raven.

Is there a mission after "The Hammerites" ? After finding the 'dark quiet place before heading out to Lord Wilson' objective the game goes back to the start screen. :confused:

Did you use the link posted on the first post here in this thread? V1 was only 3 missions and ended after the hammerites mission, but in V2 two new missions are added including lord wilsons mission.

I'm in the room with the vault door. I got the dynamite, but I don't know where to put it. Also, the keeper symbol that lights up behind the painting where the raven in the cage was. What do I frob with it? The keys do nothing & the lockpicks klick, but that's it.

i can help
if valut door is part way open put dynamite on backside of vault door and use flare on it,if vault door is closed you have to do animal sound puzzle,pick 4 animal sound in correct order ,if guys run if you picked wrong,once door opens a bit get lfare by switch where you open vault door a bitCardia on 18/2/2021 at 17:48
