Thanks everyone, Im just back from my trip and am enjoying your feedback :cheeky:
The issue with the 'Heart of Sanctity' not ticking off worried me, but no matter how many times I played through my level, it always worked, so I figured it would, guess not :( . Also, I use to have trouble when you first encounter Castor not running through the teleporter, but lately for me he did it everytime. Some things may still need fixing, including not frobbing guards???? strange, never had that problem. And my level started forgetting what I had done in some cases when I loaded it after a save in DromEd, for insatnce the window roombrush, I must have added that 6 times, and yet its still not there, so Dromed is partly to blame for some problems. And I do not recall adding a gold key on a carpet in front of the Gem room, DoH!
If you guys have anymore questions, feel free to ask :cheeky:

I really liked this FM, because of the graphics and architecture. Very nice in 1600x1200 128MB mode.:sly:

I have the user scripts from about Dec, 2003. Or do I need something
else??
Help!!

You should probably have newer scripts installed, though I don't know if it will fix your problem or not. Download the pack that Komag put up (
http://www.keepofmetalandgold.com/files/c5scripts.zip) here and install them in your T2 game folder. That should make sure you have the most up-to-date ones. If that doesn't fix it then I don't know what the problem is.
Have you tried playing a different T2 mission to make sure it's just a problem with this mission and not a more generalized problem?

I just finished with 33 loot short of total. This was a really well designed mission with a few anomolies here and there.
There is one side of the mansion outside that has no texture. The flower thing worked for me even though I picked them up before the objective appeared. I was also in need of a way to turn off the alarm. I even shot the watcher that triggered the alarm with a fire arrow, but the alarm continued. When I killed the apparition, the mission failed and considered it to be the fourth guard killed. The Castor objective worked ok for me. He chased me into the long pool room, and when I entered the pool he ran for help. Well he got stuck under the low ceiling, and that is where I let him have it. :P
Here is a snapshot of the gold key... What does it go to?

It was really fun. Thanks HipBreaker. I know when someone goes to this exreme with a FM, it is really hard to get every detail right.

Keep the feedback comin! :cheeky:
I know I took some risks with the whole Castor fleeing thing, because we all know that nothing always works. So, I think it seems to be turning out okay, and there are a few problems here and there. I am debating whether to release a patch or not, and whether it is really neccessary to do so. And that gold key, I remember deleting it it in the past, and now it shows up upon release *sigh* Oh well, If I do release a patch, I will delete it. I apologize if it confused anyone. And thanks to everyone for playing my mission!
Well, foo. On expert:
I used the invisibility potion to sneak up and blackjack the bugger. Killed him but the objective didn't tick, so I reloaded and have him stowed away unconcious. If I carry him to the Private Keep Out room and kill him there, I wonder if it'll tick off?
Also, haven't found the book to tick off the flower objective, although I had already found the flowers :)
Fun mission!
Cheers,
-M

Do you think I should released a pacthed version? I'm not sure how these problems affect everyone. It seems there are a couple major problems though.
Sluggs on 26/3/2004 at 19:44
That depends on you really HB. I think that if someone loves their FM's enough then they will go ahead and create Patches/Convert to T2 etc...
It shouldn't take you long to make a patch and i think it would be worth you doing so myself, especially while it's still early days. There's alot more taffers' that will be downloading your mission still so i think you should go ahead. :cheeky:
BTW, In Silent Nightmares, you had Fog. Did you have a different GFX card then because you mentioned that you can't see any Fog now?
HipBreaker on 26/3/2004 at 21:15
Yea back then I had a Riva TNT 2 32 mb video card. Now I have a Radeon 9800 non pro, which I read up on and it has problems with fog, so I just didn't add any. When I tried, well, you saw the outcome of that, so I had to remove it, heh. So yea, I am REALLY busy now but if I can make time, I'll try to make a nice lil patch.
