This applies to both of you, obviously:
You (should) have a bent gear - and you can't fix it, but time can.
Use it on the spider-like robot. And it should return with what you need.

Did you operate both switches in that room ?

The sequence is as follows:
1. After attaching the parts to the time machine, there are TWO switches that can now be frobbed..
2. Grab the critter bot on the shelf (only one of the five can be picked up).
3. Place the bot on the pad inside the room on the mall, circular pad.
4. Frob the bot with the bent silver gear.
5. The bot will reappear with a new silver gear.
6. Place the gas-filled boiler next to the time machine on the shelf.
7. Ignite the boiler with the "useful flare" you found in the hospital maintenance room.

Where can I find the part that goes onto the frontmost part of the device? I already have the other three missing parts and the rest of the necessary items and I'm completely stuck :grr:
