thats not the thing. It is because of "nothing matters if I frob the glyph". And thats why I asked here in the forum for help and we checked all things around my correct version of thief2. exe and the correct installation.
If you look in this thread then you will find another taffer with this problem and the answer was: looking around the glyph to open the door. But after i double checked my installation and version of thief2 (patched since yesterday with tafferpatcher 218) I could not find any new objects and so on. The FROBBING of the glyph was always the first thing for me to try :).
It will be more useful if somebody tells me, what the meaning is of "look around the glyph" and spoil me, what I have to do.

You made it sound like you're looking for a switch/lever near the glyph :p
Did you "re-install" the mission and start a new game after upgrading your Thief installation? Loading a savegame might not do the trick.

The same procedure as every: after reinstall the mission (I start with FMSel 1.1.2) and going to the glyph I hear only the quiet sound while frobbing it, nothing else.

This is embarrasing. I know there is a secret door in the Keeper hideout, and I have found it in one of the rooms, but try as I might, I can't find the operating mechanism. :p What am I missing?
[edit]Found it. No idea how I failed to find it after minutes of searching, but fail I did. :p
