Thanks! Even without going in to the game again I can see how that would work. Even though I'm done I'll give that a try (worth it just to have a look at all the pretty architecture again!)

i played it while ago. GREAT MISSION!!! you really know how to make a good mission, and the architecture, ghhaaarrhhg(homer style, when he sees a sixpac or a delicious beef), AWESOME!! keep it going. btw, why the lwd got only five bronze hammers. i think that it was a 2.5 silver hammer mission! okay, see ya 'round robin!

After playing Saturio I have to say that it's one of my favourite missions to date. Looks nice, plays nice, is damn good all around. But I wanted to just report a few things...
(Spoilers!)

First, after cleaning the first floor, I didn't open the lever-operated doors to the main yard. Later on, this caused some trouble, as I had to enter from main doors with Saturio (I was playing on Hard, so one broadhead did it for the guard, but I still prefer something other than frontdoors).
Also, some of the miniture frenchdoors blocked vision, even though it seemed odd. But, these both are minor bugs, nothing too serious. Good work, keep it up!

Itemizing:
Spitter:
If you didn’t open the courtyard doors you can let Saturio on the ground near the font and look for other entry lonely, not necessary crossing the main door. Open after the kitchen room to get Saturio again.
Theef and Brunny:
Nothing to say about rope arrows. Was a possibility but I feared it would spoil my gameplay planning.
Varas:
I´m very pleased you like LWD but didn’t get five bronze hamers. Got four.

I'm looking to contact RobinG (builder of SRH)-- is the email address listed here for him up to date? I sent him something, but I'm wondering if he is likely to receive it.

Agh. I'm so stupid. I've been playing too much "rollercoaster"-levels where you practically just go forward, without never having to return backwards (except maybe for leaving the mission area). Again, good work. Have to try it on Expert now...

I just wanted to say thank you, RobinG. What a beautiful mission! Lovely to look at, fun to play and very well planned. I like the way you have it set up so there is always several ways to choose from to get where you want to be. I just finished it on Hard, and went right back in to start it on Expert, something I very rarely do. Anyone who hasn't tried this mission yet definitely should. It's a winner.

This. Mission. Kicks. Ass.
After playing through the hellishly annoying and tired Thief 2 OM's, and playing the excellent FM's Embracing the Enemy and Equilibrium, I really thought I'd seen it all.. boy was I wrong. Download now, taffersies, or else.
I can easily see this mission getting >9 hammers.

Man, that's your second-ever FM? I just got done playing it -- I liked it better than Embracing the Enemy (no offense gecko). I walked through it in a mixture of bliss and suicidal depression, bliss because I LOVE THE LEVEL, and suicidal depression because I will never, ever make a FM that looks and plays even remotely that good.
See, this is why I think that the Thief community is far from dwindling. Stuff like this. You know, we're in a Golden Age for Thief level editors. The high point hasn't been reached yet -- I'm assuming that CoSaS or T2x will be the high point, although I'm betting on CoSaS (just because it looks more professional from what I can tell). And all of the FM makers from T:TDP and TG are just starting to release their FMs. gecko, GBM, etc etc etc . . .
I mean, it wasn't all that long ago that Calendra's Cistern came out. How long after Thief 1 came out was that? Yikes. Thief 2 has a WHOLE lot of life left. You ain't seen nothing yet.
I just realized that with the original missions, T2x, and CoSaS, there could be more than 40 Thief 2 campaign missions! Holy shnitzel. I'm going to wait until I can get both CoSaS AND T2x and have myself a Thief 2 marathon -- play all of the OMs AND all of T2x and then all of CoSaS. Mmmmm . . . now I don't give a rat's hiney about making my own level, I just want to PLAY THIEF 2 . . .
*sigh* you know what? It is SO depressing that there isn't at least some kind of multiplayer in Thief 2. No matter how raggedy it was -- even if they didn't include it as anything other than a 'buyer beware' thing, like DromEd, just THINK of the stuff we could make! Just imagine being able to INHABIT these manors and cities with some of your friends! Being able to stroll into a pub at evening and see a couple of other human characters in it. Damn. Makes me wonder if you could do something like that in SS2, with the Thief 2 models and textures.
